"WTS (item) on the ground" ticks me off, what does it mean?

Hey all,

There has been this load of world chat messages saying "WTS (mold or whatever) on the ground"...
Does any have any explanation for this expression? As I cannot compute on it, it kind of really nags me.

Nirvana Stage 3 Molds can't be traded and sometimes they're useless to the squad that got the drop. So, they sell them if no one needs it and the customer must go pick the item up from the ground. That is all.

It's people selling molds in warsong. As they bound when you pick them up you need to sell them "on the ground".

For example : if you need 3rd cast r9 bow, and a squad leader shouts it on wordchat you have to pay him the money he wants for it and you can pick up the mold I guess o_o'

Yeah, there is some risk involved, but from what I've seen most people aren't lying thieves and honor their agreements. Also, not a lot to lose from the squad's end, the mold is unwanted and would just be npced anyway for 300k.

As was said here, it is people selling molds, could be in warsong or lunar also...

Personally has someone that runs a lot of Warsong, we sell a lot of molds...typically you see the armour molds go for 3-6 mil depending on the piece, some of the chest molds go higher, whereas the r9 molds are typically lower.

Weapon molds all depend on the piece, I know in HT, the nirvana stage 3 dagger mold will sell for 50-60 mil.

Our squads always inform the buyer of what pavillion to port to if it is an armor mold, then we instruct them to pick the mold first, then trade with whoever is banking...the purpose for this is as said, the squad is only at a risk of 50, 100, or 300k depending on the mold, and odds are very high that no one is going to whisper you from the world chat, run all the way in, pick it, then scam the squad...there is no way to avoid the damage to your reputation at that point, as its 6 honest people vs 1 scammers word...while if a squad scammed someone from trading first, then its harder to know who to believe...

Also, another reason for this is the drop timer...dont want someone to trade you the coin, then while in trade/just after, the mold goes POOF

Yesterday, had 2 of those drop, no one in squad needed, nor in faction, WC got no bites. Ended up randoming them for npc food.

Yes, but if no one need in squad you can see it as a risk that everyone get money beside one person getting 300k for npc it.

People buying know that they need to be fast, so usually they join squad tele ASAP pick it and pay after.

Scamming is bannable so if the person pick it without pay than people can take SS of the convo and chat and send a ticket.

I bought my dagger mold from Genghiskhan about a week ago, and the way they do it is perfect.

I know they also keep a list of people that wants certain molds and then PM's you if it drops. That is awesome !

I ran in, they told me to pick the mold FIRST and after that trade them the money.

Look, for a squad if the buyer does not pay it is a probable 50mil they loose. For the buyer if he pays and DONT get the mold it's a definate 50mil they loose. And as stated the mold does go POOF after a while.

And if you dont pay - I know these guys will WC that you are scammer etc - I would as well. Reputation in game is not something that i am prepared to risk for a mold.

BTW Thanx for the mold Genghis - My stats on 1st make was 40Attck lvl, 1 att lvl, 18 str and HP 350.

I recasted ONCE and got the SAME stats except the 1 attck lvl changed to -0.05 interval !! WHOOP WHOOP !!!
