I don't know if this have been asked before, but is player allowed to change music from his/her own PWI files? Because its really boring to listen that same little music in Arch or elsewhere. I have been patient with PWI original music for 4 years, but now I ask.

    Don't think so, that would be considered file editing(which is bannable), and would possibly **** up your game. I just play youtube songs on the background or some music track....I know the music sounds so boring after a while, I keep mine muted 24/7 and play my own music on youtube.

    I'm playing PWI for 3 years without sound now. Not because the musics boring but I rather listen to my own.

    Forbidden indeed...

    If that annoys you so much, just mute the game. Put your fav mp3 player on and blast the music full volume in the headphones/audio headset so you are fully content with it.

    I suggest you do the same the others suggested ;p go to in-game settings and simply mute the sound :3 and then just play the radio, or ipod or different source of sound x.x

    I play with the sound off all the time. I have muted sound since I played a game (that I still play from time to time) that plays an "Anal Spasm" sound (or other similar sounds) randomly when you enter an outhouse.

    That'd be a nice project to do one day, figure out which music plays where.

    Some are obvious, like theme_a is login screen, but there are also a few in there that are not used.

    In the music I posted here I MP3 tagged some of the files with known locations. I intended to finish that up and put more out but life happens.

    I actually did this a couple of years ago... but due to the way this game plays music it's not worth it. Like others said, better off playing music from somewhere else. I listened to music from either...

    1. Winamp (or any music player)
    2. YouTube (Those really long tracks)
    3. Another game for it's music. (You know it's sad when you need to listen to another game's music to enjoy another one)

    I prefer endless-loop music like in normal games, so I've been making my own brstm music files with my own MP3's and I play them on Winamp for as long as I want without any pause or interruption.

    @Bubbles: Well, there's precint.clt...

    I just wish this game had combat music... That actually plays and not just sits on the music folder.

    Ew. Endlessly looped music is the thing that REALLY annoys me in games.

    I used to listen to a pwi station run by a guy on these forums; but that long folded.

    Radio rivendell ( http://88.191.136.226:8005/ ) is pretty good.
    Dementia radio ( http://dementiaradio.org:8027/ ) is pretty insane.

    And GSP ( http://s7.viastreaming.net/cgi-bin/scproxy.cgi?port=7350 ) is the official unofficial radio for Anarchy Online which is an older MMO than this, and pretty good. (Botht he music and the game)

    It all depends on the music played. No doubt, some tracks are annoying to hear with endless loop. But when the music changes between field and combat it's all good with me.

    For some reason I can't settle with internet stations while playing games. It works wonders while doing chores/cleaning.
