I've been looking into buying a new video card that will run pwi around 50-60 fps in max settings. Currently I run an ATI 5770 and I only get around 30-40 fps in max settings. I'm interested in getting an ATI 7950. Anyone know a good graphics card for pw? b:pleased

This game mainly based on CPU rather then GPU so i guess the video card you are using is pretty decent.b:pleased

Anything manufactured after 2008 will work pretty well for PWI.

Well considering the game uses a lot more CPU power, would I be better off getting some ridiculous CPU like AMD FX 8350? o.o

Uh huh, anything 4 core+ is "ridiculous" for PWI. I surely suggest FX series if your motherboard is compatible with AM3+ socket, mine can only handle AM3, thus I got AMD || Athlon x 4 640. Fairly annoying that now, few months afterwards, I`m changing motherboard, which is compatible with AM3+ socket type.

Couldnt find your graphic card actually, the ATI 5770 came as ATI Radeon HD 5770 on google search, which seemed fairly overkill for PWI. Meaning if we talking bout same thing, it`s not the bottleneck for your fps.

Well I'm actually making a new rig so I'm looking at whats good to get but I'm guessing if I get anything better than what I got now, it won't make much of a difference. and yeah ati radeon hd 5770 same thing

    lol at these people....

Bulldozer/Piledriver is just about the worst modern CPU you can buy for PWI. PWI is single threaded and the performance of single thread on Bulldozer/Piledriver (FX prefix) is terrible.

If you want AMD, get Phenom x4 965, if not, all modern Intels offers decent performance for PWI.

GPU wise, get a new 7xxx series card. The 5xxx series are not power efficient and are not that cheap either.
