Need Help choosing Sage or Demon for Mystic

I kind of need help trying to choose between sage and demon. I heard that demon Mystics are good but i also heard that Sage mystics are good. so that became hard for me. So which one does has more attack power and more AoE attack skills. Which one has to do with supports and which one has to do more with attacking.

    Demon and sage have the same AOE skills, the amount of skills don't change, they just have a different bonus sage/demon.

    Which one has to do with supports and which one has to do more with attacking.

    Some people say sage is better for support while other say demon is better for attack, but again it depend on what you want.

    I personally prefer demon mystic myself. Sure, sage has less mp costs overall, but demon falling petals lasts 5 mins, instead of one, if ecatomb can be trusted. The immobilization from the lvl 39 aoe skill (idr name atm) ahs a 35% higher chance to proc, while silence stays the same, you deal with less QQ in parties. while sage startrting heal has a 25% purify chance, and demon doesn't, i like the higher chances of purify on the aoe heal. and the chi generation for demon summons is nice as well. those are just some of the reasons why i prefer demon mystic over sage.

    About the attack I think it also depends a lot of your stuff. I mean for Wood Mastery for example, when you're sage then this skill increases Wood damage by 25% instead of 20% when demon (+ 2% crit). The 5% difference may not seem a lot for someone with low basic damage (and in this case the 2% crit might even be better) but the stronger you are and the more important that difference can advantage sage mystic when talking about DD I guess

    Im a DD/heal Mystic that is Sage and wears Arcane. I went Sage for the alleged Chi bonus, but as an added benefit, I really love my Cragglord - which if you go Demon, for some reason you won't be as in love with Craggy as I am. b:chuckle

    Another side benefit I found on my server, since I bought most of my spells off the AH (back about a year ago, when they were comparatively cheaper), was there were more Sage skill books available, than Demon. The prices on the Demon skill books were higher than the Sage as well.

    It really doesnt matter though, as has been suggested, go read the skills - both versions - and see which one's you feel will be more beneficial to you and your playstyle.
