Is there any new race comming up?

I heard a while back that there will be a new race after 2 years of the Earthguards I just want to know if its the truth. No flaming please.. I just want to know if it is the truth.

    when did you hear it? because i dont think pwi will be releasing any races soon, its quite a lot of work. And when new races are added (earthguard,tideborn) why do you ppl keep on expecting that this is going to go on? 10 classes is enough. and i wouldn't want any new races :/ because i dont want the new ones replace the older races roles. like how archer used to be the critical striker and now its the assassin

    It was a question, i wouldn't mind them releasign it to be honest

    There hasn't been any official statement in regards to new classes as far as I know. I haven't heard about any new classes released in PW-CN either, but to be fair I don't follow the news about the Chinese version very closely.

    New class for each race... what makes you think PWI would add 5 new classes rather than 2 new classes/1 race? I highly doubt there would be more, 10 classes is literally the max amount of classes for every game I played. I'm not saying PW won't change that, but er... 15? No.

    I highly recommend people to stop crying that Archers used to be critical strikers but now Assassins are, if you don't like Assassin then don't play as Assassin, you play with toon you like. Nobody forces to make Assassin, just keep playing as Archer. There is no *best* class in PW. Every class has its bad side and good side.

    Have you ever sparked and APSed on a barb that has bramble in PVP? didn't think so, assassins are the first to go down in NW/TW so many skills can pop them out of stealth now it aint funny.

    That's called being stupid. Has nothing to do with how well assassins do in PvP at all. It's like deciding as an archer to go use your PvE farming claws to 5.0 a HA class in PvP instead of using a bow and skills to kill them.

    @__Conn: It doesn't matter, both are rogues. One's a range damage dealer the other class 'close-combat'. In my eyes, both classes have their own roles. But the fact that we've already 10 classes among us makes me not want to see new classes.

    About assassins, they're not so powerful at all. ***** two Rank 8 assassins with level 90 equipment in NW (sorry PW staff, but it's the truth) with my Psychic b:laugh.

    Even if they make new class people won't leave their precious APS toons or R9 class to start a new one.

    Plz note that i have also heard that there is going to be new races comming in 2014 so the person had heard right.The date may be unknow but i heard 2014 was the date. so
    I am wait for the new race and by the way there is nothing wrong with expecting a new race when pwi had sugested it so ya when i heard this i am expecting it. so do not get ur pants shortened when ppl ask this yesh

    shhhhh you don't wanna know how many times i saw that in NW, some situations were against a barb with/without bramble, i just sat back and ejoyed the view while my squad was yelling at me why i don't atk the archer f:sweat (couldn't help myself the image was too goood)

    i think at some point even the barbs just sat back and watched for a bit, like a stunned one :))

    Judging from how the Crimson Empire is being introduced, it wouldn't surprise me if after Humans, Bird-kin, Beast-kin, Fish-kin and Nature-kin we now get Drake-kin. I am expecting a tank-like fighting class with a polearm specialty (we've got Sins, Archers, BMs and Seekers in the melee DD role, but only one tank-y class: the Barbarian), and a metal/fire ranged DD class.

    I like how nobody pointed out bramble does not work in open world pvp...
    How long until I can stop correcting people on that.. I mean my god it's been 5 years and people still don't know what their skills do.
