Priorities on AA armour for mystics

Which properties would you look for in armour for an AA build Mystic?

Physical resistance?

-Chann?

MP boost?

    1st place - channeling (till you find Absorb skill casting is fast enough to use in pve AND pvp, about -25% channeling in equipment is minimum I think, personally I have -50% channeling).

    Another thing is phy resistance - mystics have nice self buff that increase % of phy def and stack with cleric buff so they can get really nice phy defence if they add some phy def stones to equipment. (at lvl 100 I tanked a lvl 120 melee boss using only self heals)

    You will also like some +HP equipment. It is nice for every arcane class.


    MP boost is not that important. You easly can refill your mp with cheap lvl 75 MP pots and 79 clear thoughs skill. Not a big deal.

    ^ That. End game gears don't have a lot of channeling so don't try to get the most chan you can, when you use a skill with long chan use rapid growth before. Usually people using chan gears have a really bad survivability and die really often.

    Mystics don't even have that long channeling skills besides mist and AS...

    Pdef, HP bar none...

    -Chan...we already are one of the fastest casters in game, and nearly all -chan gear is more focused on mdef which we already have lots being an arcane class why make yourself squishier to melee/ ranged classes which are your primary killers in pvp mostly?b:surrender

    Look at the channeling times on your main skills and ask yourself why people recommend -ch for mystic.

    Pdef is pve vs pvp dependent. Mystic doesn't need near as much pdef for pve due to self buffs, seals, knock backs, self heals, etc.

    HP is dependent. With ~13k hp and moderate defenses; you can tank BH SoT. It really depends on your goals, but over 5k HP should be expected for 100+.
