Between a respectable bout between this sin (http://pwcalc.com/7093e0000493a8a4)
and bm (http://pwcalc.com/4b1e05af0cd45f98), who would win?

    The BM ditches his unobtainable fists and equips his +12 R9 axes with drakeflames. He then 1-shots the sin after a bit of fighting (read: abusing demon bell + leaps + control skills to the fullest and so on) via a zerk/crit because the sin has no defense levels and doesn't have enough pdef/HP to compensate.

    I'm not really sure why someone would mix r9r3, nv3, nv2, and morai G15 gear like that, especially if they managed to get their hands on GM fists.

    Going just by gear and assuming both are reasonably skilled, I'd expect the sin to win. Even with the worst possible roll on Adversity that sin will still do a ton of damage and could eat through that 15k hp and 29 defense levels so quickly.

    I usually have around 15k hp and 40 defense levels in NW and I get demolished by sins with +12 Adversity daggers.

    What he said builds make little sense.

    The B9 could just toss on R9 axes and eh 3-4 shot at most the assassin with that little pdef/HP unless they got lucky and focused mind procced but either way assassins pdef sucks.......alot.

    In the end depends on player and skill also but just by gear ONLY id say BM.

    just no.
    BM has double the physical defense and way more hp than a similar geared sin.
    If rwo equally geared APS chars, BM and Sin both self buff, triple spark and hit each other the BM will win.

    ON TOPIC: pretty much what everyone else said. Builds are dumb.

    I think the guy is trying to say that axes are far more effective than fists. Both bm builds have around 30% crit. Combining a crit with a zerk will surely make quick work of the sin. There's nothing wrong with aps like you suggested, but it definitely takes more effort to whack a sin multiple times than to finish the fight with a well placed axe hit.

    Maybe he meant to use the R9 3rd cast top but clicked the G15 morai top instead.
