Your gear is a little outdated, but, you're still levelling so gear isn't a huge issue for now. The main problem is how you're building your stats. How are you spreading your stat points? Are you going for a Dex/Str/Vit based Seeker? What I can tell you off the bat is you've got WAY to much in Dex right now; Depending on how you're spreading your stats, you might not be able to use the high-end Swords/Armor. You need a MINIMUM 255 Str and 155 Dex, by Lv.100+, in order to equip anything endgame, like R9 or G16. Edit:Which is a minimum of 5 Str and 3 Dex every 2 levels.
The best thing I can recommend to you is to stop boosting Dex for the moment, and, start pouring all your stats into your Str to fix your damage output, so you can equip up-to-date gear later on.

Yeah my advice is stop with the dex until your str is higher than ur dex and then do 3 str 2 dex per level until you get 155 dex and then put every single point you get for then on into str because crit builds that don't require loads of dex are becoming more and more possible. Also strength build has higher total damage output than dex build so idk why u have more dex than str

your gear seems fine atm, another option is to use elemental ornaments (neck, belt) since HA has less elemental defense.

honestly i dont know why pple like to make it confusing for themselves by stat-ing xx str per every odd level every new moon of each friday of the year, and xx dex per every even lv once every other month every first monday.

Its not a str build. its a high dex build, the goal is evasion and crit. putting more into str defeats the purpose and makes the build your every day seeker that everyone does.

Do as you please, though there's a reason it's the build everyone uses. PWI used to be a game where unique builds were viable but that's no longer the case. Conform or get beaten down. b:chuckle

Even 2 years into the game, it was blasphemy for clerics to shard themselves with defense shards. Full MAG clerics were looked down upon. Back then, I adamantly stressed the importance of both, the stats and the usage of excess ones. A little while after that the idea started to get accepted.

I dont see why it would be any different for various earthguard builds to be accepted as it only came out march of 2011 (not even 2yrs) Personally im having a blast being a dex seeker

I have tried str build on a seeker. Then I changed to dex build for a change of pace halfway through. I liked the dex build better cuz of seeing so many crits with our most powerful attacks.
And now i m leaning towards going CRIT build(not a dex build mind you) while restating back all those dex points back to strength cuz r9r2 already gives a lotta crits and i plan to try my luck in getting crits on my rings with engraving as well. And prob shard with JOSD and DOT half/half. I think that build that i m currently working on has around 36% crit rate with only 180 dex and rest into strength. Will see how it works out

sry by dex seeker i meant max crit possible in terms of x amount of dex = 1%crit. Could be the same as yours if your putting dex in for each full crit

for now.....i was bored and was messing around in pwcalc and i finally found a build that has the following stats without sacrificing ANY points in strength.

40% crit
130 defense level
130 attack level
all that crit with only 200 points in dex.


This is with attack level blessings on btw. I am really looking forward to going this route when i get my r9r2 in 2 weeks(that's if i m not in losing nation lol)...
