BM and archer sharing gear?

I saw someone with a HA archer the other day (100+)....I have tried to read about this build but I have found nothing that says its a good idea? I played with the build calculator and it seems that you loose a good portion of your damage due to the required 254 strength? for L100 HA.....Anyone here care to share their experiences with this build?

    its nonesence and u can roll bm instead.. main thing of being archer is his range and dmg.. you can increase defence by upgrading rings necklace and belt, i have 16k defence on archer buffed and its just basic ornaments.. but its easy on archer to kill sins and bms its hard to withstand good mages cos normally they can 1 hit you out of nowhere, while bms you see coming and sins.. there are tactics against sins as well ;P but against mages u can only spam charms and wingshield but u cant rly do that constantly and mdef is as important as pdef..
    being a HA archer or clawcher is just stupid ( in my oppinion )

    Kinda what I figured....like I said I saw someone in game with this build and he made it work PvE but PvP is gonna be different. Thank you for your opinion.
