is it worth starting to play PWI again? i heard a lot of people saying it has gone downhill lately and is dying. is this true?

You'll get answers of "yes, it's dead", and answers of "come back". The most honest people would just tell you to come back and play for a week or so. If you like it, you'll stay. If not, you gave it a try and quit again, there's nothing holding you in game.

The game now its more like a casual game...no more endless Nirvana run spam, more better-organized and not-so-blazing-fast Warsong/Lunar runs its all what's left on PvE side.

On PvP side....oh lord, I don't want even start with this.

for new characters :
free hp charms every day , super new questlines, good money in there
1-60 is covered , after that there is tideborn questchain to get you to 70 and another plat charm of hp.
after that , 80+ many guilds loking for ppl, and with new nation war --> money/gears for free players

Well, what should i say? I can tell u about my opinion, but that guy have right so far... Only what i rlly can say more to that is: Play a week and look ya, but u wont get that part of the content that made so much ppl leave pwi in that week so dont forget to look about high lvl content in this week and think about what would that mean for u if u reach that lvl any day...

I'm for myself? Im sad rlly sad... left my loved toons back in pw and i stopped play... Why? Well i have 2 100+ Toons... My plan was farming nirvy, im pure PVE, so i dont like rlly pvp and for sure i dont like nw..., i played a pve server, but well that cant help me anymore now... cause all pve parts are gone especially in the worthes to do them... nirvy... its dead... nobody will do it anymore... cause of nw... rebirth... useless, u wont get a real reward anymore... just some drops, but no coins anymore... ur potion costs will be nearly higher as that what u can get in there... further more... lunar... i was never a lunar player or ws so far both is just then good when u have the luck to get one of that rlly good drops and thats rare... so whats left? TT ... ya but too much ppl are farming there now what means the marketprice for the mats is down like hell... gba for 200k lol... only whats left now is... bh 100... and that is just a chance... all day just boring bh? and all my loved instances are useless or too expensive to do them...hmm ok i could pay cash... but hmm for what? to dont be able to sell my gold to get coins that way? cause nobody else have the chance to get the ingame coins to pay for it? oh well, im not a rich person in rl... + i loved farming for my gear and so on... i cashed a bit the last years... but now i already ask myself if i made that right... cause now im out of the game before i made my goal rdy... i miss my toons but i dont see the point why i should keep playing, all my fun in the game is gone by the most point to do my loved pve instances is killed, so my fun is killed same way. So my plan is killed by pwe or better by the developers...

Well thats my part of it, but u need to get a own opinion about all, this may just help u to know for what u should look while u start a test play...

I hope still a lil bit that they wont let this game die and so they give us pve low and non-cashers a new chance of our loved pve parts in any way... maybe with a hard reduce on that what u get for that tokens from nw, so that our pve parts will make worth again... + the dq price should be back again... hell i have no rlly idea how should new players get the coins for their damn skill upgrades and new players are important to keep the game alive, and give rebirth coin reward back... make it a bit lower if u want, but not lesser than the half of that was we had before, things like that would give me a reason to come back and maybe some ppl more... so far its keeped like it is... i will just look sometimes here if there is a change that give me a new point to play and maybe i log in sometimes to just look how it all look ingame... nothing more.. i wont kill any mob, dont look anywhere else like ah or somewhere... no interest for all if i dont see a point to play, play a game means for me spend some time to have fun... without fun there is no point

With NW the game is being revived a bit. You still have to cash shop almost exclusively if you actually want to play though.

The game has been dying ever since it has been released b:shocked. Every content, patch, sale the game dies more. Game seems to have 1 billion hp, if still around after 3~4 years.

its fun when your playing casual. Sometimes i end up going on a low lv alt just to enjoy the game on a casual scale. aka doing quests, doing events, casual smaller factions.

but dont expect to compete with pple who have been playing for a long time unless you pitch in good $$. Its only natural like every other game.

People always say "game is dying" no matter what. From my personal experience it's actually become MUCH better, drawing more people in as of Nation Wars event added. Some were raging and saying "game is dying" because they cannot take the fact that ALL their nirvy gear they worked so hard for has just over 1 night become INSTANTLY obtainable, and therefore worthless of the time they put into it before the era of Nation Wars. I just adapted to the change, so what if I spent some real life $$ and lots of farming time in nirvana to make my daggers? No big deal to me.

For casual play, fer sure give it a try, but if you want to be relevant in the TW/PK/NnN scene, you will have a huge amount of spending/catching up to do as the top tier armor is now incredibly op compared to the armor you will be able to afford for the next year or 2.

Really ? I play now in such game, where I able to get items and rating not because I pay, but because I play !!!


This is just such free to play model where players must pay more and more time and money for each new level.

And developers are interesting just in profit for themselves.


PWI become more and more PvP oriented (as side note):
NW,
PvP in secret passage,
PvP in Cube of Fate (what was since long ago), etc.
