i have a Desktop that has Windows 7 Pro, but i'm thinking about upgrading to Windows 8 Pro. it's $40 right now, and i was just wondering if it would be worth getting. what are your thoughts on Windows 8? Is it worth upgrading now?

If you have a touch screen system, go and try t :P it surely will work.

If not , well you can try it too in a different partition, but 7 will work really well :P

    Those are my ideas :3

    b:thanks

Well widnows 7 is really cool, but I don't know about win 8, you should ask someone who has already try both, or an expert in that field

    Have both here.

Still i think 8 was designed with tablets and touch screen systems in mind.

Testing it it was kind of weird to adapt to a new interface , so i kept win 7.

But still like they say in Russia. If it works, do not touch it.

    Hehehehe.
