If you're one of those people that sins love to target first for some reason in group pvp, I'd recommend staying in white while waiting around in order so that when they do unstealth you're not instakilled by the first hit or 2. For good sins, psy will is usually not enough to do anything as they will just use their water skill and then sleep you or seal+immobilize.
I do.
Sadly my job as of late is to camp white voodoo and toss support skills when I can. It's very dull, repetitive and boring but it's the best decision for me to make from a team perspective because say...in an 11v11 fight where we have a cleric and 3 other squishies, I end up with a sin (or two) exclusively coming for me, refusing to jump anyone else and absolutely shadowing me until I hold still or lose all resistances or get stunned by someone else, so simply by running and barely casting a damn, I'm essentially holding sins off my teammates.
That's just how it is, unfortunately. For anyone who makes Psys hoping to play a class that's sin immune? It doesn't work that way, unfortunately. Sins curbstomp everyone else, Psys and Seekers can just go 50-50 with them. And unfortunately sin attracts egotistical little ragers who'll absolutely stalk you if you kill them. Likewise, a Psy is simply the best qualified class to kill a sin because we've got both the control skills and the DPS to do it before they restealth, so as nice as it would be to jump the cleric first in group fights, sometimes you take his spot because you're the one most likely to save the cleric. The result is that holy damn, you end up fighting sins constantly as a Psy, whether you want to or not. And as satisfying as it is to crush the egos of them, it gets really annoying and dull pretty fast. I mean as I just said, I regularly have sins who, in a big 11v11 fight, literally just shadow me and then anxiously await a chance to pop out and herpderp the moment I cast something lengthy like empowered vigor or glacial shards; pretty lame combat imo.I AGOREY0 -

Idk. I never get bored of watching dull sins kill themselves on soulburn.0 -
OK, let me clerify... I don't always have TROUBLE with seekers.. I just find them annoying if they manage to void step me they are generally R9 and now their close and I'm stunned...that squishy aspect comes in play. If they are within 10 lvls of me, I can kill them pretty quickly short of HP charms. I rarely bother with WV in pvp unless there is a chance that it can save me while I get some distance and a chance to maybe proc a stun. As you said.. our best bet is getting the kill before they get to us.
As for SoR...I'll have to try that. With sins, I have found that my SoS stun doesn't last as long as the stun they put on me to I'm half dead by the time I pop out of their stun. And I'm usually fighting someone else when they pop out and stun me (****). I agree with your 50/50 comment. I find that I'm very back and forth with sins in 1v1 and NW pvp more than any other class.
Thanks for the tips everyone.. good stuff.. WE NEED MORE OF IT IN THE FORUMS! Not just hidden in the midst of 50 replies. lol0
