demon knife throw

Probably a missunderstanding, but why does my demon knife throw not interrupt skills 100% of the time? I mean lv 10 says 70% and demon says increased by 30% so that should be 100% unless my math is wrong somehow. It's weird because spell cutter works just fine and interrupts 100% for me, just that knife throw seems to work like less than half the time. I'm referring to interupting the dudes in abadon that put the poison on me,

    With knife throw being a ranged skill, there is oftentimes that you're not within the mob's melee range, and they would start channeling another poison spell before you attack it. When you use Spell Cutter, you're guaranteed to be within that range.

    For myself, Demon Knife Throw has had no problems functioning correctly in my 1.5+ years of using it.

    Ah, you're talking about the mobs in Abbadon.
    They actually have a shorter channeling time compared to their animation - you have to KT a bit early to get it. Else, the "breath" that they poison you with can't be stopped.

    Another issue with the mobs is that their current spell might be canceled - but they'll immediately start channeling a new one, that can't be interrupted by another KT.
