Soloing Metal or Fire?

I know this comes up suddenly but I just wanna know if I can do it with mu current gears, well those I use in WS when I attempted to solo before. My last attempt got me 102 score on Metal. And before you redirect me to Desdi's thread, I read it and I took heed. Heck, I even use some of the things Desdi does, except I don't have Blazing Barrier, or all of my demon skills.

So, on a quick whim, could I be able to solo or should I really go in there and test what I can and can't do?

I doubt you could solo, maybe with someone to help, but I don't know a lot of veno able to solo pav. You have a good defense, but no power at all.

You should maybe get a magic ring for more power, and refine your weap to +5-6 and change the shard, the one from Morai is good and cheap, if you are not in the good order just ask a friend or someone of your faction if they can buy for you and pay them back.

I would personally tell you to go try to test if you can solo it (while waiting for a bh snake is good).

Yeah, I thought about that and my next purchase, if I ever get the money for it anyway, should be a lunar magic ring, or a Seal of Eternal Solitude. Then comes the refining part. I want to refine but my luck sucks so badly that I'm afraid to even refine it any more. And I'm kind of short of money, as I only have 17m at the moment, and probably not enough to upgrade to +5-6 b:cry

Next bh ws just try to solo as you suggest. It's what I did at the start with my chars to know if I was able to do it.

And I had spare time so I decided to buy some packs with an old pre-paid card and I managed to get my sword to +6 b:victory

Gz on the sword, let us know if you can solo it, so that might help other veno to see if they can or not.

Desdi - Sanctuary

As Bella pointed out, your gear was quite fine but you lacked in attack power but with your weapon at +6 now it should be better.

I would suggest to farm DQ now that it's 2x to get some event gold via the Demon/Sage card and use that to refine your gear further. Using some tienkang should get you to +5 easily. If the refining rates seem to suck, leave it for a different day.

As for the second magic ring, a very cheap ring is the attendance one if you have sheets for it. It's pretty good and it's practically free. Now, if you don't have any sheets for it then you can search the AH for potentially good and cheap OHT rings. Sometimes you can find some really nice ones with a lot of mag+ for example.

You could still use your LA gear while defending (since it has defence levels) and if you manage to +5 the rest of the pieces that should give you 8k HP buffed or mix and match if you feel that your AA set has too little defence (or +5 that too if you manage).

My question is though; you mentioned that you reached score of 102 in Metal. Do you mean the time run out and you only managed so much or did you die at the score of 102 and was unable to recover the Pavilion?
I'm asking this because you don't necessarily need to kill all the mobs. The main goal is too keep the NPC alive until the time runs out (and the pop-up quest appears). Regardless of what you do, if the NPC is alive until the very end; the last boss will spawn.

Additionally, if you find yourself unable to defend Pavilions still and you're in need of molds & badges Lunar is the other alternative, albeit forming squads for it might not be very easy.

I did a BH snake+Cannon today and while I did have a cleric with me to take the head, I was pretty soloing all the mobs and truth be told, we managed to defend the pav. He attacked too and we it went well.

I did most of it with my LA set and it went well, of course a few charm ticks from the sacri mobs :P

best choice for veno is FIRE
because there is lots of space to kite head...
just summersprint and that slowpoke cant touch you...
you can also easily row up some mobs for aoeing...

Well as for me find fire easy to solo. Not fastest killing (just +7 on weapon) but that due I needed put some pts into str from mag (why some ask? well see 2 sins dies on me in NW cuz I too beffy and brambled is worth a little lowered mag att). Metal is too small for class that not have any knockback (yeah I know about genie skill but it cd can be a little issue).

I'm glad you can do it, but the important thing is when you will go in a full ws squad tell them you need the cleric (or someone) with you or if you go alone and become in trouble ask help, don't wait too much, a lot of people don't say they need help and fail their pav making all the squad need to restart.

Nice! That's good to hear, I'm sure with a little more practice and future gear upgrades you'll become an expert. Pavis are really easy once you get the hang of it!

Well upgrading gear do helps. Like when you get killed (still it happens in fire to get purge and one shoot) and still can come back and defend by yourself. But as Bella meantion calling for help won;t be see as weaknes. If it would be then mean your squad mates are some noob that have +10/12 r9/g16 vana gear and think each should be so *cough* pro like them.
