Massive Lag Issues Since Patch 12-12-12

Ok, downloaded patch 682 = success

start game and log in to experience the following incredible new adaptations to the PWI universe,

Extreme lag = success (even in morai with absolutely no other toons in the area)

Random disconnections = success (whilst in the middle of a group of mobs, who whilst pulling my pants down and having their perverted way with my toon, stripped considerable amounts of health from my overpriced HP charm)

Random NPCs not even showing up today = success (it seems that some NPCs have taken the idea of the "silly season" to heart and had too big of a night last night, because they just did not show up for work this morning) tele master in Morai not there.

Lengthen time for quests to activate with NPC = success (several minutes pass each time i try to communicate with an NPC, quests, tele, whatever, I think this is due to them having consumed way too much egg nog. And there are still a couple weeks til xmas, have they no self control?

Please rectify this asap or i will have to play LoL up to and past xmas again this year.

    After Today's update i'm also facing the same issue, btw your can check your bandwidth speed http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ . The run traceroute to PWI servers and see howz the ping ?

    I got same problem....it didnt start after maint....it just started 20mins ago

    i dont remember last time i had any lagg and connection issues....my internet is working perfectly fine


    game keep freezing for 30 sec.....ping is jumping from 150-20k


    its not problem from my side....and like i said iv been playing all day till now....


    any explanation???

    You can check to make sure ports 29000-30000 are open. Check to make sure there are not a lot of other programs and processes running in the background as well. You can just try disabling other running programs.

    You can run traceroute to PWI servers and see if there's issue at your end or there's ?
    1) In Vista/7, click on the Windows icon/Start > click on Search > type in "cmd"
    2) On this screen type in (exactly as it is typed here): tracert pwieast2.perfectworld.com (You can also use any of the IP addresses to our servers listed below. Try several.)
    Please note there is a space between "tracert" and "pwieast2.perfectworld.com"
    3) Wait for the traceroute to complete.
    4) Right Click on the window
    5) Select the "Select all" option
    6) Hit "Enter"
    7) You will now be able to paste the text into your reply.
