snowmen

so as most of us know about the snowmen, i was wondering
what are the best places to hunt them, and as a veno, can i use a bow?
all my ranged attacks are wood based so the snowmen resist

also, does anyone know how long they will be here?

    Yep yep, get a low level bow or you wont have a chance. Any major city is fine, it will all be crowded. Have fun!

    is it going to be THAT crowded?

    if it is, i almost wish they were in towns as well

    I just went into Archo and it was not crowded at all. I was able to shoot many snowmen without anyone KSing me.

    A far cry from the first time they were implemented ans where every poor snomen was camped by one or more player.

    I guess the drops are not that interresting anymore. Moreso if the Xmas quests are not implemented this year.

    (We are still waiting to see any improvements or changes beign implemented. More empty promises from PWI?)

    i do, but im very hyper and impatient and my pet gets xp if i hav him out

    The snowmen worth the chi stones at least. Cheap charm making for NW/so on...

    Two years ago they only made fireworks worth dq points after a week or so, so I'll hold on to all my drops just yet.

    what about the years afterwards? atm they seem completely worthless useless theres some sort of npc that you can trade them to

    Well last year they glitched and killed everyone in sight with a one shot aoe, so they were taken out fast. They need to announce it first, but how it went was you would npc them like any other dq item, and you'd get dq points. Again, this feature isn't on yet and I haven't a clue if it will be.
