    Hey guys,

    I'll have an official announcement soon for the Winter Holiday events, but I can say, with some fair certainty, that there will be snowmen a-plenty this year.

    I'm so glad I saw this! I logged into the game, saw the snow, but not the trash-talking snowmen, and I felt so disappointed! I'm glad they'll be making an appearance, though. It's all I have been looking forward to since I started playing again. :o)

    I wonder if said winter holiday events will be the actual in game event that involves the santa npc or if it'll be some generic sale like every other year.

    The snow man are nice but you really got to step it up, especially if you want people to vote for you in the mmo awards. b:surrender

    Please dont publish dates for the Christmas and New Year's event and then cut back due to not wanting to go into the office on a weekend. For Pan Gu's sake, look at the calendar first then figure out what dates. Just to repeat what our good non-offical community leader said...
    Generic sales are not equal to a holiday event.
    Running the attack on Arch is not a holiday event.
    Tiger event is not a holiday event.
    A GM meet and great is not a holiday event.
    Giving us just the snow is not a holiday event.
    Saying you are going to run a holiday event and cancel due to client instability is not a holiday event.

    I wont be casting my MMO vote unless I know that-

    a) snowmen ARE coming back
    b) the xmas card tree thing is reactivated
    c) killer yetis or something creative is done sometime during the holidays

    You are not difficult to satisfy when it comes to game features.
    For me, voting for PWI to be 'the game to recommend' would require a lot of other factors.

    a) Has been verified already in this thread.
    b) It's not likely that they bothered to fix that because there are SO many spawn variables that have to be changed, and the first two years they couldn't fix it. I'll check the files later today though and see if they fixed the dates on any of the holiday events.
    c) Not bloody likely, since it would require extra creative effort. So far all they've done is expand on things that were implemented already in PW by the original Archosaur Group dev's. (With the exception of Morai, and that was mostly a cut/paste from another MMO on the Angelica Engine.)

    I think this year they need to make it where when you kill so many snowman, the boss of all snowmen pop up randomly like MQ quest with the spiders. Drops can be open to everyone who dealt damage.

    The SnowBoss's need to be about as big as silver frost and have this face.
