How well will this computer work

I'm more than willing to admit that I am not tech savvy at all and from reading the forums many of you are, so I've come asking for computer advice. I need a new computer and want to make sure the next computer I get will be able to play PW. The computer I'm currently using is not meant for gaming and can only play PW with the all the settings on low, so with my next computer I was hoping to get something that would let me play them at max (or at least very high). I'm currently looking at computers to buy and even after reading the reviews I'm at a bit of a loss because I really have no idea what half the stuff they are talking about even means. This is the one computer I'm looking at to buy, can you tell me (honestly) how well it will work to play this game (if at all)? If you need more information let me know and I'll post more:

Processor: AMD FX-4100 3.6GHz

Processor Main Features: 64 bit Quad-Core Processor

Cache Per Processor: 4MB L2 Cache

Memory: 8GB

Hard Drive: 1TB

Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7750 1GB

Power Supply: 300W

Operating System: Windows 8

CPU Type: AMD FX-Series

CPU Speed: FX-4100(3.6GHz)

CPU Main Features: 64 bit Quad-Core Processor

Thanks so much for any help. Also, will Windows 8 work ok with PW, or will I'll be have troubles?

I don't have Win8 myself but I heard there are some problems with installing PWI. There seem to be pretty easy way to overjump it though. Install the PWI on any other system (the way works with Win7 instalation of game, should work with WinXP too, at least it worked with me when I moved the game from XP to Win7) then copy the game folder and put it in your Win8 computer. When opening the game allow compability mode. Thats it.

About the computer specification - should be more than fine - as long as you have drivers instaled properly. The only problem might be graphic card - 1GB is enough but I am not sure how well it will work with max settings. I have Nivida GeForce GT430 1GB and I can use the max settings and it looks good but I prefer not to because it slightly slows my game - it might be RAM fault though, I got only 3GB ram. Besides - I use 2 clients at once and I dont want my comp to overheat. :D

I rarely use 2 clients at a time, and once I have the second computer I can always use the old one to log onto a healer and put up BB while I use my new one for my attacker. So it sounds like this will be the computer I go with unless I see anyone else in the next day telling me not to.

I play on a computer that has quite similar specs. I dual client everyday for BHs, but do so with just one computer (clients are windowed). I've never experienced any hardware issues and, for me, it's vastly simpler controlling both characters this way. Must also say you can be a lot more effective when both alts are more engaged.

You shouldn't have any issues assuming you get the client working properly on Windows 8. Even my laptop can play PWI maxed out and your desktop specs are much higher.

Thank you so much for responding. This makes me more sure of the computer I'm purchasing. Now I just have to hurry up and wait for it to get here. b:chuckle
