Problems with Nation Wars

I'm loving NW, but there's a couple of problems I've been having with it.

The first problem is the chat window. If you're in transit to a battleground, it frequently stops you from typing in the chat bar. And you can't hit enter to keep typing. I've had to do the following many many times:
Click, type a letter, click, type a letter, click, type a letter.

This makes me massively rageyb:angry

I can't tell if it's happening every time a system message pops up for the battles, or just every time you hit a new territory that you're passing through.

The second problem is skills. I'm in a battle, and my skills are working great, and I'm having a blast killing people. Then all of a sudden I try to use a skill and it freezes halfway so that I'm standing there like a moron who's early to the interpretive dance flash mob. And it's not that the skill is going off and I'm not seeing it. The skill doesn't go off and that gets me killed. If it was a once in a while thing, I'd be like ok whatever. But this happens 3-5 times PER BATTLE.

This is only happening during nation wars, and has not happened in any other area or instance that I've been in. I'm fairly certain it's not a debuff that's causing this, because I've had it happen coming out of stealth on someone that can't see me, plus there's no change in status icons.

Anyone else having these problems? I know Fiance has the same problem with the chat, but not sure about skills.

every1 has it with typing and skills is cuz ppl immune for your attacks like tw you freeze and skill goes into cooldown only 2 that have this are tw and nw

The chat thing is due to an update of the overall UI. IE, something pops up on the map/map changes, it resets the UI.

The interpretive dance is just that the person is immune to damage - respawn immunity mostly. Same stuff happens if you duel somewhere you can't attack other players (wedding is a good example). This is normal and has been around for a long time. You will still gain and spend chi doing this.

I don't understand how it's respawn immunity.

If I freeze and they attack me, then someone else kills them, I don't think anyone was immune to anything. And we're talking out in the middle by the big square. By the time you run there from any respawn point, your immunities have worn off.

They can also utilize apoc and skills to be immune, same stuff with the funny dance. There is also different types of damage immunity, along with certain skills that bypass some of them.

Realize I encountered the same exact thing you're talking about (and had others attempting to hit me), and each time it was an immunity pot, skill, or respawn. If you are noticing something different than the rest of us - screen shot, most likely record it. If you have enough animations up and the person selected we can prolly tell you what skill or pot was being used.

And I can make it from spawn down to the flag with immune to damage after respawn just fine.
