use gold to buy Zen

Because of the time zones of this new 'expansion', alot of people are either quitting, not participating in the new expansion, or just going to a new server.

Why not, to make it a bit more fair, enable people to buy zen with the gold the accumulate so they can actually play on a different server, seems as alot are now struggling to participate in the expansion now

    My crystal ball isn't completely awake yet, but let me give it a shake and see what it says. Ah, here we go:

    They will never let you buy Zen with gold because they want actual real life money for Zen. If they let players buy Zen with gold, players could do it without ever spending a dime.

    In other words: If you want to server hop, you either have to start all over, or charge $$$ to get a monetary head start.

    So sayeth the crystal ball.

    But even if you could, how would you raise the money now?

    I could sell my decent gear on my server, then buy gold with the coins, then use coins to gear up my new alt on new server

    One possibility (though not ideal) is to sell everything on one server for coin. Then on the server you want to switch to see if anyone wants to go to the server you are on now and trade coin with each other. As I said it's not ideal because you could be ripped off, but if you don't want to charge it really is the only option.

    not on RT they aren't quitting.

    you may have people come and go, but all those QQ'ing about the new expansion are STILL on world chat qq'ing. IE they are still logging in to play.

    And the amount of zen being purchased, and gold sold has not slowed down one bit.

    So not sure where people come up with these ideas. I have had more than a few "old" friends who quit, who popped back now that the playing field has a "chance" of being leveled. IN fact, many I know are contemplating buying zen to get one toon to R9 so they can recast.

    People may QQ, but IMO, this is going to drive zen buying up. Which as a company out to make money, this expansion may prove to be very profitable for PWI. Not to mention most of the people I know and play with are thrilled for this expansion. Those who hate it are in the extreme minority.

    I want to stay playing but because of the time zone, i have no choice but to move & start again to a new server that helps me more and actually gives me a chance to join in more, especially with the new expansion time slots.

    But why should i really start all over again from making 3 x lvl 100 alts when PWI does nothing to help? All pwi have to do is set a price to buy back the zen with gold, then perhaps people might consider stating longer as they will have a chance to move servers with the coins they accumulate.
