      It's also related to Tidal Protection and Focussed Mind (at least the demon versions). I noticed it popping up every time i evade a status effect.

      been seeing it all over the place, but i dont think everyone sees it the same. In a bh abbadon squad, i saw it pop up and said "what were those chinese characters" and another person then said "OMG so im not crazy! Yay" before explaining how they had seen it but no one else before had seemed to see it. everyone else in the squad also missed seeing it it seems.

      think it is conditional to certain people to be seen

      It's caused by a debuff being blocked by the tidal protection buff.
      It's mostly on sins but also on BM leaps, Blood theater, and probably other stuff.

      Would like to add to this. While I was leveling my skills today some of names on the NPC list were not in English. It almost looked to be... Spanish? So not sure if it was an on purpose name change or a glitch?
