Judging from the details, it is Friday and Sunday. 2 hours long. Battles are 20 vs 20, 25 minutes, or first one to get 20 points.

Assume 25 minutes. We can have 4 battles a day, 8 battles a week.

People can take part in a maximum of 8 tw each week. Let's abuse the rule of alts and put in a 2nd alt here. That is 16 tw mats worth in one week.

In 7 weeks a person will have enough mats for Darksteel pure gold (not tradeable) for the full set.

In about 142 weeks they will have enough mats farmed for the Jun printed ribbon. I believe these items are tradeable. If your friends, factions, buying helps, you can reduce this number down as well.

Squad size is 20. Let's say 10 friends with 2 alts do this farming religiously for only one friend's benefit. That is 80 Jun printed ribbons a week, bringing the total to 15 weeks.

I have no idea how they will be priced. Might be like offense and defense essences on sanctuary. First few days they sold for 150m each. Price dropped to 90m, 50, and now both sell at 3m easily. Or they might have a stable price. It depends if the loser in the tw gets anything or not. If the losing side gets nothing, that will make this interesting.

If people form a squad before signing up, they remain as a squad so very doable with friends, the question is there will be some fights you will loose (or most or all b:chuckle), so would the losing side get something?

Sakubatou - your r9 3rd cast plate might not be a far off thing for you b:victory

For those ogling the lvl 9 (or is 10?) tome with +45 base stats need lvl 8~9 tome and these

Jun seals 538

To make a lvl 8~9 tome you need LUAD

Darksteel pure gold 6

The king of the seals 157

That is 30 tw minimum = roughly 4 weeks if you attend every single one. Will require about 695 seals.

Lots of farming to be done, let's hope the system works well.

Re-read the coin cost in pwdatabase sir.

Unless they change the coin cost, the coin in itself is so cost prohibitive - the new R9 being put in is a joke unless you're Ty Webb from Caddyshack.

They also require 1 Darksteel Gold per piece, which costs 20mil. The Belt and Ring require 6 of these each.

This means that a set of armor costs 554 Ribbons and 16 Darksteel, making the total cost at least 5.88 BILLION coins. For JUST the armor. The weapon seems to cost even more.

This does not even include the 526.000 Army Owned Reign which you need to collect, which could instead be spent on 9366 Rapture Crystals or 1248 Five Star Dragon Orbs.

I estimated that to b:chuckle 14~16 billion to get the gear and another 4~10 billion to refine, shard it. In my calculations total armour cost ~= weapon cost as well, a daunting task, working on getting that much coin though b:cry. It would be super icky to get the gear and have r10 come out and r10 being significantly better b:sad, such is pwi life.

But getting one armour r9 chest piece to get -0.05 int and +5% max hp, might be worth the effort, especially for newer bms who haven't refined, acquired full set yet.

IF your server is anything like my server, and tons of people haven't even touched Stage 3 let alone Stage 2 Nirvana, the prices wont change. I'm estimating that Cannies and Raps will at best, hit 300k and 1.5m.

Last 2x the server was overloaded with cannies and raps and that was the lowest I saw for like one day. Unless you did an overnight lowball, they were about 305/1.55.

Mostly Im worried about them moving TW times thusly destroying our Euro and Aussie and NZ people's ability to TW and then them moving onto another game due to it.

Wow big price difference. During 2x, canny go from 240k~300k, raps go for 1.2m~1.3m. During non 2x, canny climbs to 300~340k mark, raps go to 1.4m~1.5m mark. Though not always. Those are buying prices at shops. Often times in 2x people sell things cheap and they do vanish.

I have bought out shop for cannys and raps when making people g15/g16 gear during 2x. Set up my own as well to buy equal amounts over the year. The past year 2x has seen a steady decline in prices compared to last years 2x 1.6m~1.8m rap price.

Not many people are going for R9 2nd cast on the server, but there are a few working towards it. There are quite a few with Nirvana stage 3 though, or have some pieces and working on others. Most notably are the caster classes, they see the gain equalish to r9 and far cheaper, and since most had g15 armour, the switch is not that expensive for most. Maybe a few more gear pieces farmed over 2~7 months to complete the set for pvp, tw, pve reasons.

I hope tw times does not change, that will be a sad change for all.

For billions of extra coins invested into R9s2, it does make you wonder, why not just make 4-5 more R9 chars? Lol. I've always wanted my own R9 Barb, Wizard, Archer, Sin, and Veno for PvP lol.

Exactly my thoughts. The stat increase to S2 is just not equivalent to the amount of awesome you could dump into a second toon. Although Im never doin JoSD again cause the price is insane...2-2.4b coins more than Vit Stones? Thats a second R9 toon.

Funny enough I rerolled my chest 2 more times tonight, ended up with Strength, -int, and Evasion. Now I gotta get back on the horse with Merching and get T99HA boots, dorbs, and 8 More DoTs...sigh. I feel like I completely wasted that belt chest and boots lol.

Apparently vana market is destroyed b:victory. No need to save money for r93rd cast, should be able to make it if they don't change this over the next few weeks. I'll work on the r9 3rd cast first b:chuckle. R8r -int can be acquired later. Don't want them changing the NW rewards on me.
