    weather on the east coast is fine. they hashed the update and the techies cant figure it out. Theyre using the weather as the cover story. There have been a few power outages but nothing near the servers. Everyone one was expecting something huge from sandy but in the UnitedStates it wasnt all they cracked it up to be. Not much but a lot of rain, the wind didnt even come close to what they were expecting. I'm less than 100 miles from the server and havnt heard a word of any power outs in the area, or any downed internet lines, or i wouldnt be online now.

    Think it's time to hire some new East coast techies.
    My NY and FL based servers are running fine still for the game I host.
    Blame the weather all you like its, hardware, software or programmer fault here.

    my favorite part is the east coast servers are down but

    says they are fine and it supposedly updates every 5 minutes....
    According to it they are running top notch right now and in full service....
    Makes me appreciate having a IT degree and an applied computer science degree..
    My servers are never down for more than 10 minutes...

    Servers were fine through last night and Sandy was already heading into NY so weather is not the cause

    Client did an update and refuses to connect so its definitley PWI caused

    Again b:avoid

    The part that makes me lol is the fact that this proves their "Server Status" page to be completely bogus. On the page it says the status is automatically updated when clearly it is not and never was. As of right now, according to that page, all servers are up and running perfectly. And we all know that is simply not true.

    Choose server window on the login shows all east coast server with no ping or population

    lol more like they forgot to implement quality employees.
    its amazing how easily having a degree will get you a job,,
    its also amazing how many of those people with degrees cant do half of what is expected of them.

    We know that, the point of that was that their html site that is supposed to show truform for the servers doesnt really. Its a wasted and falsified page... mostly in part because there is no linking system between all the different servers. Each sector runs independently and the site relies on communication from them all to relay current info which due to a poorly structured system doesn't happen.

    Well I play not only Perfect World but also RaiderZ and east coast servers there are GONE! Idk if that is much of a small PWI update **** up cause RaiderZ weren't updating anything tonight! So one must assume that it actually IS the work of Sandy.

    because it isnt ran in unison. Each sector is independent and runs on independent employees.
    Just because the software distributed to each sector was correct for the update doesn't mean every team knew how to implement it problem free.

    On the east coast.
    RaiderZ is working.
    Counter Strike is working.
    Gunz is working.
    Runcraft is working.
    ********* is working.
    Black ops is working.
    MW3 is working.
    L4D is working.

    in fact PWI is the only east coast server I cant connect to right now.
    wow it actually starred out the name of that game... thats odd... out of the entire list...
    what does pwi and rune s-cape have against one another that it wont let you list the name?
