R8 recast chest

how meny recast did it take you to get interval on it
i am planing pto do it and would like to know on average how meny recast is needed so i can calculate cost befor i start
i know it is based on luck but still....would like some input xD

    I know 4 example only.

    Friend 1 - Did it one time, got -intx2

    Friend 2 - Did it 43 times, no -int

    Friend 3 - Did it 5 times, -intx1

    Me - Done it 8 times, no -int.

    I am saving for the new r9 chest piece that has -0.05 guaranteed, yes, more expensive and all, but considering the costs, it is a worthy goal. Others can give you their numbers.

    I've also rerolled 8 times, no -int. Considering on waiting for r9t3 also but I want a more official verfiication on what we're getting since there are two option for r9t3. We may never get it, we may get it but they altered it from chinese version... ya never know.

    By the odds its 1:24 chance each reroll. So 24 rerolls would be expected.

    I am waiting as well and saving. Once the official annoucements are here and the items are in the forges i will decide.

    If the new top is introduced, it costs 720m to get the canny/rap roughly at our prices to get it.

    24x20m = 480m (rough estimate to get -int on r8 chest)

    Might still be worth the investment, especially for people who already have r9 tops. I am assuming the mats required can be farmed like warsong, but from server vs server tw, might take time, but possible to do.

    I read somewhere the reward was 500 items from tw. If that is the basic reward.

    Rap = 60 items for 1 (tradeable)
    Canny = 8 items for 1

    500/8 = 62.5 canny per tw we attend or 8.3 raps. The top will need 1 200 canny, that means in 20 tw you can get all the canny you want. If faction helps you farm this, much quicker.

    The chest armour piece requires 10 of Mat 1, and 1 of mat B. No idea what they are called, just going by looks.

    It takes 500 basic mats to get 1 of mat B = 1 TW (non tradeable)

    It takes 1000 of basic mat to get 1 of mat A = 2 TW (it is tradeable), that means either 20 TW's or have 10 people help out.

    The basic mats will accumulate very quickly, it takes 2.4k i believe for a WOCC, that is 5 tw.

    WOCC = 70~80m item i think? 80/5 = 16m per tw

    62.5 canny (at 275k each) x 5 = 85.8m/5 = 17.16m per tw.

    There is some good income to be made if the system is implemented just like the chinese way with same rewards, ratios. Assuming the system is the same and we don't get a messed up version of it.

    I wonder what the requirements are for this server vs server tw, what stops the smaller/1 person faction from joining this just for the rewards?

    I thought about getting it for my BM, but after taking 47 re-rolls to get purge on a 10% probability for Purge spear, I erased all thoughts from my mind. My luck is horrible.

    If we're to assume re-rolls are ~ 25M each, that's easily over 600M coin just re-rolling + 100M to make the gear.

    R9 3rd cast would be around that tbh. I'm here with Saku on this one; holding onto all my coin for now until I know what other options there are, with the exception of some $ set aside for G16 helm/cape because I know I want that already.

    hmm r9 is big IF and WHEN...
    i think i will tray my luck on that r8r soon...just gona w8 a pbit more to be able to do more recasts at once xD
