What is the main language the dev's overseas in china speak?
There is so many variations and dialects, I kind of wish to know what they mainly speak (incase I ever decide to visit china, I might want to meet them and talk directly with one of the people who made a good game, but gave it such **** people to work it)?

Most likely Mandarin.
And you alone won't really have any effect, even if you do manage to get remotely close to having an audience with them.[SIGPIC]Octavia is best pony[/SIGPIC]

My only question towards this game would be "Why did you pass on the handling of it to such mentally challenged people?", other than that I would be asking them questiosn geared towards the coding behind such a immense program that PWI is and how it is to have programmed it all.Going for on sin: pwcalc.com/d916f4e82a02e4dd

The developers are fine, it's wanmei that keeps on switching them around and forcing them to release/cut content.
They are the ones who fired archosaur studios afterall.
Edit:
Anyhow, I don't know what dialect the current devs would speak in since I know nothing of chinese.
I guess check wanmei's site and try to judge what kind of chinese that is, chances are the devs would speak that as well.
I wouldn't be surprised if the devs knew english though, at least for the programmers. There is a lot of good english in the files which suggests that for at least the ones that can program, they know english pretty well.
That shouldn't be surprising though, since programming is pretty much based on english words.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Find out where their HQ is and research the area and what dialect is spoken there. I'm certain wikipedia would have such information. I'd bank on Mandarin though. It's quickly becoming the "official" dialect of the Chinese government."Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness. It is far better take things as they come along with patience and equanimity."

Uhhhhh... Wait. You want to try to figure out a dialect of Chinese by looking at the writing?
I believe that is impossible. All dialects of Chinese, and even Japanese, use the same character set (Japanese, however, uses two others as well).101 Sage Sin*/Archer
100 Demon BM*/Barb
96 Demon Cleric/Sage Seeker
95 Demon Wiz/
94 Sage Veno
85 Psy/80 Mystic
And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.

I sincerely doubt they won't understand Mandarin, as it's been the de jure dialect since like... the 1930s I think?Proving that not only archers do math since 2009. b:victory

Fastest way to get an answer: call the people you ask for an answer from "****".... Big sarcastic high five for that. Even though at any rate, you wouldn't get an answer from a GM here, just a mod at best.0 -

I don't know anything about chinese or japanese. They are all moonrunes to me.
I use google translate for everything I do. Works most of the time.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Since Wanmei is based in Beijing, I'm guessing they use the Beijing Dialect of Mandarin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beijing_dialect
Also would like to point out that while China and Japan share many, many characters. They also don't share exactly the same character set and so you can't just write in one and instantly be understood completely in the other. While they can certainly get the jist of each other's writings in certain circumstances, there are some variations, simplifications, etc that make the two sets very different. In addition the importance of hiragana cannot be ignored in Japanese (doesn't exist in Chinese) as that is how they do important things like indicate whether or not something is a noun or verb and what tense it is in.
For example take the sentence, "I ran 3 kilometers."
Japanese: 私は3キロを走った
Chinese: 我跑了3公里
Very different.
Now change it to "I want to run 3 kilometers."
Japanese: 私は3キロを走りたい
Chinese: 我想运行3公里[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
