New Top 5 Lists.

Greymark - Raging Tide

Well since we seem to be on the subject of lists lately and forums have been pretty dead, i figure why not make a top 5 most valued toons for each class in TW list. The rules of this list are:

1. We are not only evaluating a person's skill or gear, but the ability to use both together.
2. Player must be evaluated in a TW setting.
3. Don't think too hard this is kind of like a top of your head kind of thing.
4. You MAY use currently inactive players BUT... you must consider the gear they had when they retired and it's relativity to current gear in use by top players. Meaning if you pick a catabarb who was skilled at the time using t1 nirvy, chances are hed be pretty useless now on a top 5 list full of r9. (i.e. picking someone like ToyTank who may have been good back then but just couldnt compete with gear difference now.)
5. Lists are in no special order, just the first 5 that come to your head.
6. Try to stay as relavant as possible as far as active players go unless the person who quit really sticks out in your head.

* Again this list is composed completely off the top of my head, I'm sure there is a better list to be made. It is also composed only of people I've played either with or against in TW. I also tried to remain as neutral as far as guilds went.

BloodTyrant - Raging Tide

gonna say the ones i'd take out of the list and the ones i'd put in it:
cata: swampfoot and GREYMARK (trololol) out, toytank in

offensive barb: redsunrise out, darkai in (he were pro mixing claw+axe)

assassins: ulquiorra out, skai TOTALLY in (u gotta love his stun lock and dps...)

cleric: isa, even being my best friend, sorry to say but she's out, tessiy became a pro support/offensive cleric.

seekers: ghoul is rusty xD he's out and disrupted in (he became ****** hard and annoying to kill)

wiz: sorry heav, but you're out xD, lulo in (back in the day when r8/g13 were top gear, lulo used to pwn)

veno: doqui out (used to only AD and IG, kite till cd done and repeat), haven't seen good venos for so long x.x

Since there were two sub categories with 5 for each class, I merged them together and did 5+1 = 6

Good list some people i forgot off the top like Happy, lez/retto, rusca etc.

For some categories it was hard to limit it to 5 (like archers/bms) but for some it was hard to even think of 5 (mystics/seekers) i tried my best to do exactly 5 for each though

1. Gear does not mean that you have no skill, many (if not the majority) of these people are currently some of the most experienced of their classes in tw.

2. Read this rules. This thread does not look at the players skill alone, just the players value in TW. Skill and/or gear can be considered.

3. Lets face it... I think were all tired of hearing "OMGZ OMGZ if i had your gear i would totally beat all the r9 cserssss OMGZ!." The fact of the matter is, they do not have that gear, so they cant beat all the r9 csers, which is why those r9s are on this list and not the people that would ~apparently~ kill us all if they had our gear.

yeah because i`m trying to farm my gear. you kill me when i was r8 +2. +7 wep only? lol max my rafine in this game was +6 (my current eq). Grats that you kill the +2 rafine r8 veno with your r8 recast +7 wiz.. so pro..
