Questions about merching.

Hi I have got a few questions about maerching. Firstly, In your opinion what is the best items to merch? Is it packs, rep badges, orbs? What generates the best profits? And secondly, What is the most packs you sold in one day? Any response would be greatly appreciated.

There's no such a thing as "the best item to sell". Packs and tokens sell a lot, but for a very small profit. Event items sell slowly, but for bulks of money and higher profits. D.orbs sell well, but mostly when there's a sale going on, which is becoming somewhat uncommon. Uncannies and raptures sell good too, but for very little profit and mostly during 2x. Reputation sells ok, but, just like tokens, for little profit. Unlike tokens, there's way less demand for those, but people usually buy them in bulk, so the profit usually takes longer and comes all at once.

R9 stuff (MoG and GST) are not worth selling, imo. Most R9 people would rather buy their stuff straight from the boutique, or get gold to buy them, which makes your profit margin very small.

I'm not much in the pack market anymore, but when I was I used to sell around 1k packs/day, maybe? Which also meant I had to buy over 1k packs/day, so that's not much of a profit, though it1s reasonable.

Another good thing to merchant are dyes, but, being a guy, I've never ventured into that, because I'm never aware of the trends and stuff like that.

1k Packs/day? Wow, That's actually a lot more than I thought it would be. But it seems like all merchants make little profit and slowly builds their coin stack and it requires a lot of patients. If the profits are little I don't see the worth in being a merchant. It requires a lot o hard work and at the end of the day it doesn't actually pay off all that much. As for the R9 stuff, I feel that those gear are overrated. It's super expensive and I believe you can do just fine with TT or Morai gear etc. I would rather go for cheaper, affordable gear that's also pawnage. I just wish that to add sockets into gear wasn't so expensive as the Gems for socketing and refining etc. But then again a lot of items in game I believe are over priced and coin is starting to lose it's value more and more while gold's value goes up everyday. I don't know where this is going, but hopefully it will turn out for the better. I really enjoy the game and personally it's one of the best games I have ever played and I would hate for the game to be dead in like two years from now. I would like to keep on playing this game for a long time. All said, I believe that the game is fairly balanced in most areas and overall I believe it's a good game.
The merchant scene I believe won't be for me tho and I would rather kill some random mobs or do fb or bh than be a merchant. But then again it seems like the only legit way to make money in game. So I don't know How i'll make cash to get the gears I want. Maybe I'll try out merching, who knows. As long as the profits I make are at least decent. b:surrender

The 1k/day was during a pack craze, when everyone was openning hundreds of them daily because they were dumb enough to do that. I doubt that can be accomplished these days.

Well... I tried out merching aqueous scroll. Bought a 100 of them, been in my cat shop for over two Weeks. Currently still have 31 packs...

Recently now that packs sell for 600-800k, much fewer people will buy them. The profits, if any, usually pale in comparison to the profits of other sales. If you want to know what items are popular, watch gold prices and see what sales cause them to spike. Merchanting goes much better for you if you think and experiment for yourself. Things that used to be great may not be so good to merch anymore and vice-versa.
