question about sweet remembrance event

first of all, sry for my stupidity, but id like to get thinks clarified...

frankie's thread says the event is extended to 10/9
my question now is, does this mean it takes place for the last time on the 9th (the day of maintenance) itself? or on the 8th (today)?

would be great if u guys could help me out here!
