Need status for reflection

Now that so many people are in reflection, it is hard to determine who is online. It would be nice to add a status of reflection in the guild list and friends list so we know that they are not going to reply. A selectable AFK status would be nice as well.

I turn on an auto response message, but that only works if someone whispers me. Seeing letters next to someone's name as a status on friends list or faction list would help. Something like like S for in a squad, R for reflections, or A for AFKWeBeKinky Leader - lvl 10x psychic
If you don't like my attitude, you should realize I don't care.

It's strange what desire will make foolish people do.0 -
Auto-Reply on FL/U->Game Tab->Auto Reply
Just gotta PM em and you'll know if they went afk.0 -
One idea PWI should 100% implement is INVISIBLE MODE - where you're online, but appear offline in Faction list and Friend list.
Upon entering the Reflection zone, Invisible Mode is automatically activated, and automatically deactivated when leaving the zone.
In normal world and other instances, Invisible Mode could be made an option to be activated under the Game tab, under the Auto-reply box, for days when you're cranky and feeling anti-social b:irritated
Until then, we gotta use the auto-reply. Doesn't help people trying to talk to us in Faction chat or that other funky pop-up chat option, but it's the best we got right now.0 -
This one is not a bad suggestion at all and Fuzzy is going to add it to the docs the mod crew are working with good folks at HQ on.0

This is a great idea. There should be an AFK indicator in the Faction status section and FL as soon as you activate an AFK message; an "A" in FL would be good. As soon as you enter Reflection, there should be an automatic indicator that your status is "Refl" in the faction list and an "R" in the FL. I am in a faction where a person left it because they thought they were being ignored by all the online people when in fact all were AFK with most in Reflection. Adding a selectable feature as suggested by Ms_Mystic or just having the AFK feature change the status automatically would help a lot when AFK. It would not help people not on your FL or in your faction, but it would help those that are tremendously! I think this idea should be implemented immediately. b:cool0

I would make it a an automatic feature.
Just like a screen saver.
If your game client doesn't get any input from your keyboard / mouse then he activates AFK mode with the "AFK" letters as prefix in the name, automatically turn on your custom AFK message, show "AFK" in faction window too(And in the friend list), and, when you go back, just like a screen saver, he automatically turn himself off.The only way to beat a troll is....to troll him back b:angry0 -

Problem with this is if someone is waiting on you, they will think your offline. That's not good. If I'm being waited on for something or were taking a break or whatever, I want them to know I'm online and not off and making them guess when I'll return.0 -

If someone is actually going to do something with someone they wouldn't have Invisible Mode activated. If someone suddenly goes offline without saying something, we think they got dcd or had computer trouble, then wait. No one is going to suddenly go Invisible while people are waiting for them to do a dungeon or something unless they purposefully don't want to go anymore, then they're just being rude; but then people won't wait long for them anyway. Plus if you were in Invisible Mode to begin with no one would be trying to contact you.
The whole point of Invisible Mode is to stop people trying to contact you while you're afk or don't want to do anything or are generally busy and don't want to be contacted. So that people won't think you're just being rude by not responding while you're afk or otherwise occupied.0 -
Set an AFK message. . .
It takes 4 seconds.
Reflection is moronic - no need to add any more time spent on it.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Thanks for the sig Ophida0 -

The idiotic people who think no response=rude, are well just...idiotic. Auto reply doesn't take very long to put on. As Father Ted stated 4 seconds. Is that much of a pain for you?0 -

Nope, it's what I do, since it's the only thing available at the moment.
Would other methods be too much of a pain to consider?0 -
Currently there are 2 different AFK messages and both only show if if it is a personal try to communicate. There is 1 for whisper and a 2nd for private chat. I use those myself but I am suggesting having 1 that shows on guild list now that there is reflection where people are AFK for up to 12 hrs on a regular basis. Even a selectable status, beyond just online and offline, that actually shows to people who do not try a version of personal communication would be nice.
b:thanks0 -
If it was changed in the status it could be sorted in the guild list. Imagine quickly being able to glance at the guild list and see who is online, offline, AFK, or in reflection.0

It is a good idea. I rarly use the chat window now that there is so much you can not block. All I see in chat is is rude comments in world chat, Duke saying someone won somthing, or 1 of those anoying horns. I use skype, vent, or TS for real communications.0

It would be a fantasitc idea to have the faction list show ppl are AFK or in Reflection. Earlier today a person left the faction I am in because they thought they were being ignored in chat. People are not going to whisper every person showing online in a faction for help, they ask in faction chat and hope they get a response. If the Faction list had an indicator that people are in Reflection, then others looking for help would know why they have not gotten a response. If it automatically chgd the status from online to REFL when you entered Reflection and back again when you leave, others would be able to know instanlty who is on but is afk in Reflection. With so many people in there for the easy exp while sleeping, working, shopping or what ever they do while the toon is in Reflection, a feature advising others in your faction of this fact not only makes sense but to me is simply common courtesy. No one likes to be ignored and it does seem you are when there are 10++ people showing "online" but they actually are afk and will be for a long period of time. If there was a Reflection indicator at the least if not one showing AFK which is also preferred, then those online in a faction looking for help would know why they are not getting any response at all. b:cool0

I see FuzzyWuzz replied to this a year and a half ago, I'm kinda curious if the devs are pondering this or if we ever going to see something like this implemented, it's such a great feature that would really help these days.0

Wonder why this wasn't put in Suggestion Box.
And now I have to put it in Zombie Box instead. Ah well, that's life. Or death. Or undeath.
... One of those things. b:surrender
To answer your question: I have no idea if the devs are considering it or not. Given that no such thing has come with this expansion, however, I'd place my bets solidly on "no".(Insert fancy image here)0
