Estimated Cost

Guys, i was just playing around on pwcalc and came up with this build. It's not world-shattering, but i think it should suffice to do a bit of TW and at least get a footstep into some caster vana squads. What do u think wud b the estimated cost of this build and is it worth going for this build over r8?

Terrastrike - Lost City

In addition to the chest/pants/boots/wrists get yourself an NV helm and cape to complete the set bonus. You could also recast pieces of it over time, as recasting from g15-16 isn't expensive, and is farmable in Warsong and Lunar with your guild. Either way g15 NV is a better choice for endgame than r8, though you could use r8 gear as a filler while you're getting the NV stuff. b:victory

The cost would be about 80m coins per piece of G15, Providing you bought the cannies on 2x drops. Obviously any uncannies you farm from NV could be subtracted from this. This is assuming you farm the TT99. If you don't farm the tt99 then that's an extra 15-30m per piece depending on whether its chest/pants/wrists/legs.

The cape is made with a Wing Trophy. Not sure how much that's worth on Sanc, but on LC they're currently about 15-25m, IMO you should get the crit one instead though

Not quite sure about the belt, though according to a factionmate, it's 12m minimum o.o I do know that the Warsong equivalent is currently worth about 30-60m on LC.

Attendance Ring Can't be bought; it can only be gotten through attendance sheets, and the Lunar ring is worth about 40m on LC, and I think the helm is worth roughly 40m also.

I replaced the chest, legs, boots, arms, and belt with tt99 gold and the r8 pieces. The r8 build has less hp than the nirvy build you are looking into, but also has higher damage and pdef. Keep in mind that the nirvy pieces are expensive. You could buy the whole rank 8 set for the cost of 1 piece of the nirvy armor (~80 mil) and have money leftover for shards and refines. You can always upgrade the tt99 wrists and boots to nirvy wrists/boots if you have the money too

Basically, go r8, you will save lotsa monies

Thanks guys, if i may, could i pse you another question? If i were to say, get the r8 armor and go for nirvy duals instead, would that be an effective gear set.....(trying to stretch my budget here as fast as possible) b:thanks

No one has noticed you used first cast Nirvana, which will run you about 50m each piece. Second cast will be another 40m each piece.

And qz8 suggest r8, but ignored r8 boots and wrists which have more useful stats for a seeker, high defenses and run about 20m. About the same price as tt99. He also added the rank 8 belt, which in general all rank belts should be avoided because they give caster mdef and HA users pdef. You'll want an mdef belt.

My opinion is if you want to TW go R9 or Nirvana. R8 isn't enough for most TWs. If you go Nirvana look into Lunar gear since it has 33% more base defenses and responds better to buffs. On the downside, TT responds better to being purged/debuffed. Nirvana gear will give you 3 steps to upgrade, T1 (like you calced), T2, and T3.

If you dont plan on TWing or PvP skip the r8 sword and go for the Morai G15 sword for 17m. It will far out dd R8 in PvE and nearly compete with it in PvP even.

Of course if you are going R9, may as well go R8 first and just use that stuff. 72gold (108m) for 200k rep.
