this green boss(Steelation ) ruined me !

i m easily dealing with all his Debuff and DD but when he saying "Ha Ha Ha, i have some Bone to Crash" he doing aps and bam b:sad

the problem is not like slash boss in FC he gona crazy very fast after he warned ! like 2 sec ! and with little lag it will be impossible to run from him !
after failing 20 time at this boss still have no idea when he gonna crazy ! sometimes 2 sec after luring him sometimes when 5% of his HP remain !
and still have no idea how much his aps buff gonna remain ! sometimes after 5 sec u can go near him sometimes u can't back even after 20 sec !!

any1 have any tip for 5aps barb with bp and cleric how to deal with his aps buff ?Ironguar powder pot can help ?

    Just get out of melee range until it stops. The ranged attack is not 5aps.

    Depends on your class and who is running.

    Our current set up is 3 sins, 2 bm. 1 bm switches to purge pole, 1 sin switches to purge bow. Others just run around.

    I will be replacing my sin with a veno so my veno could purge this boss. You could try earthquake, genie skill, or cancelling skills for the classes, but i have had no success in cancelling the aps buff on the boss so far.

    We often keep the cleric out of dd range, simply for rez situations. But we do it as 3 people :), so we have more leeway in our choices.

    I wonder if a barb with invoke and buddha guard could just sit out the aps attack?

    Not sure how long the buff is either, but my guess 10 seconds or there about. Everyone too busy running away to time it.

    Also, instead of focusing on what he's saying, it's better to watch his animations.

    When he's about to aps he takes maybe half a second to cast a buff that looks like Wind Shield on himself. This would be your cue to run away.

    When you see a windshield animation going on the boss, that means he's buffing himself to 5aps. If you can't tank till you run away because of lag, just use a genie skill like expel/ absolute domain when you see the animation (a pot like sutra works as well). That will give you time enough to make him go ranged. After that, just wait for the buff to end.

    An invoked barb can easily tank the boss for 20s (he'll be dealing something like 100-200 damage per hit, so 500/s, which is very tankable). Even with just solid shield and some decent strenght those attacks are tankable by a decently geared barb. It's not really smart to do that, though, because the barb could just move away from the boss and take the ranged attacks instead - the DD output of the barb won't be enough to keep aggro against sins/bms anyway.

    Just adding more input...

    The boss as you have seen randomly buffs itself for 5aps. It doesn't have any special time, and sometimes, if you are unlucky, will keep spamming the same buff for many minutes.

    A friend of mine who used to solo this boss, decided he needed a veno, and he now always brings one. It made runs easier for him.

    well the best way if u wanna solo is run when he says about bones. just use crabs and spak. i advice dew of star protection but ironguard works too. happy farming
