G14 Lunar Helm and boots

I have been see'n the Elysium Boots and Forrest Wisdom helm in catshops a lot lately and am wondering if they make suitable endgame gear for an R8 seeker? They craft in the boutique for 200 mill a piece but some cats are sellin for 10-20 mill. I'm sure they must be in some pack and I wonder if the catshops don't know what they have or if the gear isn't as op as higher grade nirvy or crafted lunar gear. For the price they seem like a great deal for G14 any thoughts on this?

Correct me if i'm wrong saku, but i do blyv that they do not hav any set bonuses, but they are a pretty gud budget endgame gear, and refining the helm will jack ur hp pretty gud and allow u to restat some of that vit into str. As for boots, i wudnt really recommend them on account of getting pretty epic set bonuses from the new G16 nirvy (if ur going that route) So yeah gud on a budget but can do better b:thanksI crack myself up!! b:laugh b:chuckle b:pleased

Those pieces of armor are actually from Unicorn Forest and Valley of the Scarred for trading in materials for them. They aren't lunar at all. They introduced a pack item that made the final form of it for you without spending the months of work. However these items are now obsolete by nirvana gear.0

This thread is pretty old but seeker forums is dead enough I guess I'll add to it.
As Kawaii said they can be farmed in OUF or VoS but PWI made it basically impossible to farm. I think I remember something like daily OUF/VoS quests + 4 hours of farming it would take you 8 months to get the pieces you need. So the Tide of Elysium and Forrest Helm were introduced in packs and for a while they were the best endgame boots and helm you could get.
Then Nirvana came out. Then R9 came out. Then R8r came out...
I'd have to go back and compare them, but I think the Forrest's Wisdom helm gives more hp than G15 vana but vana gives mdef and crit %. The main reason people prefer the vana helm is it combines for a set bonus of +5 attack levels with 1 other G15 piece, so it offers more offensively.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory0 -
thanks for elaborating, I got the helm an boots 35 mill in catshops, a days work for me sin during 2x. G15 G16 sound nice, but miles away so I got some nice stuff to wear until or if I get there. Really happy with the helm, boots . . . mehSakubatou - Sanctuary wrote: »This thread is pretty old but seeker forums is dead enough I guess I'll add to it.

If 35m is a days work for your sin during 2x, and 2x was 32 days long, you could have farmed 1,120,000,000 coins. How is G15/16 miles away? You could buy three sets for that much. b:shocked[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
heheh with strong motivation i can spend a full day grinding in nirvy, but 32 days and i would be a shell of a man unable to enjoy my newly gathered wealthTerrastrike - Lost City wrote: »If 35m is a days work for your sin during 2x, and 2x was 32 days long, you could have farmed 1,120,000,000 coins.
