Regicide or Windpour?

Both got same stats but ppl told me Windpour is cheaper to make.
So whats the point of making Regicides if Windpour got same stats and are cheaper?

    Lunar (Regicide) is tradable and thus can be resold if you ever get better. Plus it looks better to most.

    If you don't think you'll ever have a need to sell it or have it used by any other accounts then go for Windpour.

    G13 Windpours and Regicides are the same thing, just one is TT path and not tradable, the other is lunar path and tradable. Different looks, too.

    Windpour are made from TT99 gold, Caturma: Berserk. To make those you need TT90, TT80, TT70, and TT60 fist souledges. All of which kind of suck.

    Most people use legendary fists/claws, then either TT80 Buddha's Claws or Gorenox:Vanities, then Deicides before they consider G13 Nirvana claws. You can then either sell your deicides and makes TT60->Windpour for 20-30m in mats, or just use a pair of Deicides for about 35m. Most people just use the deicides since its quicker and easier and tradable.

    If you are not into PK, go with the lunar version, if ever in future, you wish to sell the weapon, you can get good money for it. TT version may be 5~30m cheaper, but in the future you are spending 120m~500m in that weapon. Just for saving 5~30m now, you forgo the future value of that weapon. All my alts have lunar gear.

    If you PK, there is no worry to lose your weapon if it is bound, but if you use safety lock, gs, other things, you won't be dropping things.

    My vote is always lunar on what ever gear you can make. When i made my sins pants, they came out 4 sockets, g15, lunar. Later if i wish to sell them, they will sell well, due to being 4 sockets. Conversely my helm was 2 sockets, g15, so i made it g16, and got 3 sockets. Now when i sell my g16 helm (not happening, but if), i can get money back from it. Selling the high end items on my alt, i can get close to r9 money for a character. If all this was tt, i would not be able to do anything.

    Even if I would have the tradable Regicides, I guess I'd bound them later anyway.

    Do note G16s use lunar models... so if you're going that far looks aren't a factor anymore. That said, if you'd bind them anyway then going for TT saves coin and time.

    I went the TT route because it was much cheaper in terms of 2 sockets, and regretted it in the end.

    I had 2 bound fists, one was TT100 +11, and another G15 +12. What do you think happened when G16 came out? I reset my G15s to 0 when they became G16 and probably lost a 1.5B investment in them.

    I was still able to salvage 300M out of the 250 rapture towards my G16s luckily, so wasn't a total loss.

    But even if you PK often as I do you will still want to keep the item un-bound for re-sell value in the future.

    No. Im a unlucky fellow and will drop it in PK for sure.
    Also there is no reason for me why I would sell it.

    The reason would be if you ever wanted to upgrade your weapon to a better one such as G15,G16 while your Regicide or Windpour was at +10.If you had the windpour for example,you'd have to either use chienkun stones to transfer the refine but it's kinda costy,or just lose it and start from +0 while with regicides you'd have some money for +10ing the new wep (not for the whole refine given people will buy the wep for cheaper of what it's worth,market logic).

    Also i don't see the point of pking without safety lock.
