I would like some advice from other barbs. Currently me and a few of my friends are helping a close friend build an end game barb. We intend to farm.

We currently farm as a six man squad, during double drops about 25m per hour. We all work so we can only farm about 10 hours a week.

we agreed to purchase the forest helm first. now what should be next? a friend suggested we go for a charger cape. but i'm leaning towards going for his rank 9 ring. any suggestions or opinions would help thanx in advance. b:thanks

Strength Barb? Catabarb? PvP, PvE or both focused?

How much is he willing to spend? What is he willing to farm?

There are a lot of factors of where to go and what to get in these terms. For instance, if I was going strength barb (DD/PK/Etc style) my build would have been wildly different than my cata-focus.

I believe he is leaning towards pk/a little tw. As far as willingness to spend, that is entirely up to him. Most likely we would farm the gears and he would deal with the refinement and sharding.

If you're not doing R9 at all, then full N3. R9 ring is excellent due to the def levels, its not a bad start.

This was my progression of thought for my barb:

What I ended up doing: http://pwcalc.com/41e363477afa1983

But...I don't PvP much and I'm built to do catas. Save the R9/Shards/Refines obviously (although you can sell stuff to buy gold), it's farmable. I even had friends/factionmates help with molds and badges.

Figure out his budget, that can pretty much place where to go gear wise. N3 is about 60% less expensive than R9 if you don't have to reroll the gear a ton of times.
