Im looking far ahead since i am not yet rich enough for nirvana gear, but i can start thinking about TT99gold or Lunar gold. Normally i like to buy stuff and when i progress to higher level / beter stuff, sell the old ones and buy new ones, trying to make a profit on the buying and selling in the process. However all this end game stuff seems to be bound so i guess ill have to choose directions. I have however a few questions.

-Is all nirvana gear guaranteed max sockets ? And how about TT 99 gold ?
-Does anything from your TT99 gold (sockets, refinements, shards) remain when turning them into nirvana ?
-Do the sockets, refinements and shards remain when recasting/reforging your nirvana gear ?
-I read here that the lunar nirvana armers dont bind. Is that a misunderstanding and do they mean the lunar armors pre nirvana ? If indeed the nirvana lunar armors dont bind, is that still true after recast/reforge ?

-What are exactly the bonusses from the Lunar Cascade and the Roar of Darkness sets ?

-The Lunar weapons have a +2 range. Does that add to all my attacks, including the AOE ones ? And thus, is this advised for a barb ?

Nirvana isn't guaranteed max sockets, there's just higher chances to get them: 10% for 2 sockets, 80% for 3 and 10% for 4.

As for your attributes, you can choose to use Chienkun stones when making your nirvana to preserve sockets, shards or refinement. Same for recasting and reforging. When rerolling the stats, you do not need Chienkuns though.

Lunar armors are not bound on equip. The same is true of all Nirvana made from them.

The set bonuses for all Nirvana sets are the same: 5 attack levels for 2 piece, 10 defense levels for 5 pieces and finally 3 more defense levels for 6 pieces.

The +range mod only affects the distance you need to be from a mob to use the attack. It does not change the AoE range of a skill, e.g. Highland Cleave will never have an AoE of more than 10m. What the mod does, is it allows you to use the attack from farther away from the target, if the skill does not have a fixed range. For example, Drake Bash is listed as "Melee". This means that with a normal dual axe, you need to be at most 3.5 units of distance from the enemy. With Range +2, this range is increased to 5.5.
