Veno Weapon

I have no intentions on going r9 so I am trying to find out what the best bet weapon is for a veno end-game. Whether it is r8 recast or the NV 3rd cast weapons.
I know 3rd cast nv has more attack lvl but r8 recast has the potential for more different stuff.

    3rd cast, attack levels make worlds of difference.

    Well r8 can get 25 atk lvl on weapon, I know 3rd cast is 40 but not really sure how much of a difference 15 lvls would make.

    Get a jones and an O'malleys blessing, use the o'malleys for a bit, then switch to jones to see the difference. Depending on what you fight, the differences can be low or very high.

    r8 recast with def levels if you PVP/TW at all. Nirvana 3rd recast if you're purely PVE.

    Well def lvls are nice if that is what you've put into all of your gear right? I mean in TW what difference is 25 def lvls going to do if that is all you have.

    Def levels are def levels. Having some is better than none when it comes to PVP. Especially as a support class like a veno.

    As a curiosity, what do you have planned for your armor?

    R8r for PvP/TW due to the def levels and the fact that you're playing a support class.

    T3 for offense/PvE.

    What happened to R8R with Purify...decently geared venos are fairly durable in fox form to make use of it.

    I voted for 3rd recast for the fact that now it's more easy to get than recast R8.

    I honestly am not sure how useful purify on a weapon is. Compared to atk or def lvls especially.

    Depending on how good your gear is, purify can be better than more def levels.

    Nirvana 3rd stage because it is simpler to farm and less costly to reroll

    Chances of getting what you want on the R8 2nd cast are slim and based on the cost of rerolling the thing you could end up spending as much as it costs for two or maybe 3 R9 pieces.... just sayin

    Well getting the 'unique' ability you want isnt such a big deal but getting all stats that are useful can be a pain ya. But getting atk lvl or def lvl if wanted i dont think is so bad.

    tbh, r8 recast armors are really a waste of money with Nirvana 3rd recast out. However, with what you have now, definitely aim for def levels on that r8 recast wep.

    if you are intent on getting a weapon with purify, join a faction that has a base that is built for the armory, since the purify wand is 170m in base.

    the attack power isnt amazing, just slightly better than s1 nirvana, but you get the OP proc for about the same price as s1 nirvana.

    To add, for the Nirvana 3rd cast weapon, what is best to shard with? Mag Atk, Atk lvls, or -channeling?

    Mag attack. -chan isn't that big a need in most cases and you never put attack levels in a weapon.
