Do Venos need r8 or heavy investment end game ....

Do venos need a lot of investment when they reach higher levels, and do they need r8 at all. I've seen ppl ask for sage amp venos, occasionaly I see ppl ask for r8 venos too. But I'm wondering if they can get away with above average gear, and modest investment at higher levels like thay can in mid levels.

Veno will be just for PvE/Caster Nirvana.

It mostly depends on what you're planning to do. If you're considering Caster Nirvana you can go for the G15 Morai weapon which is pretty good in PvE and its damage is equal/higher than r8.

For PvE itself, you can get away with TT90+5 and decent shards, reach at least 5k HP and do well. You will have to invest in a few skills such as Amplify Damage (and others, depending on your cultivation).

Ontopic: Not really. Herc/Nix might cost a bit but they're not as useful anymore endgame. And if you want to get into nirvana... well keep your debuffs maxed and your hp at a decent level and you should be fine. b:surrender

Wrong. If you have a LOT of patience you can use Glacial Walker to farm many things ingame solo.

If you use veno only for caster you should get R8, majority of the squad for caster ask for R8.

People asking for sage amp are normal nirvana which you don't say you want to do. (well i personally never saw a caster squad ask for a sage veno, only normal nirvy ask for that)

For only PvE veno doesn't cost a lot. If you just plan to do caster and bh go for R8, someone mentionned Morai G15, but on my server if you link that people will laugh in your face, maybe on PvE server it's not the case.

It makes sense not to have a PvE oriented weapon on a PvP server b:chuckle but as far as Sanctuary is concerned there's quite a number of people who went for the G15 Morai or are in the process of getting it.

Yea, it doesn't make sense on a PvP server. lol

But for Sanc, it's a pretty viable option. Especially for barbs or bms, who will rarely go for R8. Or for casters that aren't gonna heal. Or simply because you got all the armor already, just no weapon and buying R8 would be a waste if you can just farm G15 morai for cheaper.

Do people actually expect venos to DD on PK servers? I bet you can get some good hp and pdef, go in fox barehanded, purge, amp, rainbow, seal etc and no one would even notice you don't have a weapon on.
