Why not adding more fashion in event shop?

Hey all,

This has been bugging me for a while. I still have spent nothing on DQ points since the items have not really been updated at all recently (and I refuse to buy a useless horse).

Since new fashion has appeared why not put some more of the older ones to the event boutique (between 3 and 4 sets would be nice)? Besides, such fashion which could interest me is neither sold in AH nor by shops.

Besides, since event cards have been distributed in a massive manner, I guess it would be interesting to have more choice in that special boutique (female fashion sets like the French set, anyone?)

Yeah that would be nice, maybe they can add a scarf for men and women, a cape like superman or zorrow or even batman!maybe a costume like snow white haha!

To D_u_s_t_y: Well, it seems that in term of box fashion, the equivalent of the Celebrity set (aka JJ set) is the Sapphire set... I know it's not a cool move from developers there. A female version of the Celebrity fashion could be nice to see, indeed.

To thegreatconquero: I must admit that the Shinobi set not even having a scarf included is quite strange; that said, it must be due to technical limitations (even if I really would want character models to be fully updated).
Strider Hiryu has a scarf.
Hattori Hanzo and Galford have scarves.
Bang Shishigami has a scarf.
Ryu Hayabusa has a nifty scarf.
Kasumi and Sasuke from Suikoden have scarves.
Eiji Kisaragi has none and he truly needs one; his ancestor Zantetsu has a cape though.
etc.

Otherwise than that, I guess that US companies like DC, MARVEL and Disney would not be too happy seeing costume plagiarism floating around. I never very happy seeing uninspired clothes either... Too many new pieces of fashion have been rather disappointing recently, I guess there is no need to add more.

To Fonyan: You know, there are already odd things like a giant lighter, a not-so good looking chronobike (Why the heck is it here? Rather have a strong anti-Wraith weapon than this motorbike as an item for the future) and other wacky elements like the camo suit. Oh and there ARE pistols in this game, but for decoration only... Do look at the Thunder Coat fashion closely.

Anyway, no need for Superman in this game. He'd destroy all mobs and bosses without effort and PWI would become a business game.
Yeah, Perfect Trading International... That would be a great game. (sarcasm mode on, btw)

I am not sure that QQing at frankie (as in one crying like a fountain, until he/she would get all dried up -no, not frankie drying up... I am not that mean-) would do anything, but who knows. b:laugh

Why not add tradeable things in DQ-shop? It would be easier to make money. Or put in those packs that some people really like to waste real money on.. Or maybe a flyer? Give it a variety to choose from.. Maybe a ability to buy gold with DQ points.. Yeah like that is gonna happen but yeah.. b:chuckle

Hey there.

Well, the DQ point reward function was designed to compensate on the DQ nerf move (the lowest level ones got nerfed again, so why do we have to deal with a non-updated event boutique?).

Basically, it is a way for people that did not get all from the boutique already to get items from well, less potential coins from grinding...
The catch is that these items are not tradeable and in some cases, much crippled (like aeros and mounts not being able to be tweaked on).

PWE makes money via a few ways, including gold. Being able to exchange DQ points for gold would make the event shop totally pointless (since the rate is of 3 to 1) and by the same way people would not be insane enough to charge their credit card for coins...


And then, with all of that said, the idea of adding more items to the event shop makes all sense all of a sudden, right?

To make more coins (and not money, as I reserve it to real currency), just keep the DQs and resell them to shops, or open your catshop for full profit... Pretty straightforward, huh? b:bye

I wanted some new fash in there too and well, it never happend. I think they updated the event shop once and addet some fashion pieces, but i could be wrong here since i made a large break and came back just 3 months ago.

Also i think, fashion is not the thing, ppl are after in the event boutique.
The main things i buy are charms and Refine aids.

When i have to buy those event cards with DQ points, i rather buy random pigments with those, because im very lucky to dye stuff pure black and sell them.

Either way, would be nice to see some fresh new things in there but it wouldnt be a huge letdown, when it stays like this. Similar to the DQ system, only things usefull are Event Cards, Random Dye and Makeover Scroll.
We dont start talking about the archivement system.. lol
