now i have r8 TT99 boots warsoul helmet oht belt basicly the avarage archer im thinking of going nirvana? how does it compare to r9 do the r9 ppl have to pay attention to you or do they just shoot you out the air as normal r8 ppl?

    There is very little difference between the two. R9 still holds the advantage of 8 more defense levels for archers and purge on the bow. However G16 can use a warsong belt to help counteract the defense level loss and has a higher base defense offense and refine rate then r9. The downside is the sockets are a gamble. So to get 4 sockets you're paying almost the same amount as getting r9.

    i saw the necro but was just wondering since r9 is REALLY expensive and nirvana is half as expensive and farmable?

    Endgame Nirvana is JUST as expensive. You pay for guaranteed max sockets with chikeun stones instead not to mention you have to reroll g16 for the stats you want where as R9 comes with guaranteed max sockets. Or you can pay out the *** with socket stones instead that's your choice.

    To go from TT99 to G16 max sockets is

    346 chikeun stones per armor and depending on the weapon 303 for Lunar or 383 for TT

    That's 2076 Chikeun stones JUST for armor socketing and not rerolling +303 or 383 for the weapon

    Grand total of 2379 or 2459 Chikeun stones.

    Now let's say its on 50% sale thats about...1.1k gold this is of course not including refines or shards. Now if you don't want it as complete endgame as can be then fine it's not as expensive nor will it have the potential to be as good because of it.

    4 sockets is not a must for me

    Assuming you farm for all of it and are willing to accept the probably of only 2-3 sockets for armor then yes it's cheaper and about the same. I forgot to include the ring last time I said that. G16 has 13 less defense levels then r9.

    5 from the ring.
    3 from the chest
    5 from the setbonus (G16 gives 15 vs r9s 20)

    Otherwise G16 has a higher base defense and offensive stats.(Not much but there is a little difference)
    G16 also refines higher then r9.

    R9 weapon has purge.
