    I've had the same DS lite for years and years now. Never had a problem with the hinges but it has been kept in sturdy cases over the years.

    I'm not the most fond of the mii's rendering style but I make an effort to make my main one cute :3! And haha, now it makes much more sense as to why you're named Stupidity on the friends' list, Gecko. I'd kind of wondered what the story was behind that.

    I have a game boy advanced.......
    Never once had trouble with the hinges breaking on my DS Lite. However I did have probems with my paws becoming very uncomfortable, so I guess that was the broken equivilant...

    And eum..... can you refrigerate ramen and it heat up reasonabily.....
    I made a bowl, took one bite and instantily didn't want it :x

    Dunno, haven't tried, but I'd imagine it heats up like any other soup. Make sure to put a little extra water in it when you're heating it back up.

    edit: according to google, make sure to drain the broth and store it separately as well. Or it'll be mushy.

    If there is no broth, sounds like she is referring to the packs of ramen which you cook on the stove and then drain out the water. Used to use those instead of pasta when I was trying to figure out how to eat living on my own b:chuckle

    I mean you could theoretically put the noodles into a deep bowl and cover with water but that would be stupid. Also Cup of Noodles now put a warning on the container telling you not to cook in microwave.

    Heat water in microwave till boiling, dump noodles, cover, add packet of spice, warm again, done xDD.

    (Idk, I wouldn't do that, but that's how I'd see people doing it lol)

    Yea thats how they want you to heat up cup of noodles now, boil water in teapot or microwave before pouring inside. But with the bricket of noodles you just wanna boil on stove, drop the brick in, cook it for awhile, dump in seasoning and stir with burner turned off then drain and eat. I used to do this but id add a little butter or olive oil and some garlic or something to make it tastier because im too lazy to figure out how to make a real meal b:laugh

    Eum......
    I cook ramen by putting all the spices/oil/seasonings and stuff into a bowl with water /first/ because I can't stand the gritty texture adding flavour later gives, and want it to cook into the noddles itself and not have tasteless noodles and then flavoury broth which has 0 effectiveness (I don't like broth for ramen anyway, only for things like chicken soup where the broth is more than just ****), and then put the block (unbroken) in the bowl and then put that in the microwave...
    For 90 seconds on one side, 90 seconds on the other side, and then use a fork to push the noodles apart without breaking them so they're all kind of mixed in the bowl and can fit in at once and put that in for 60 seconds (or 90 again if the microwave is dying).

    By the time it's been in the microwave again with the noodles broken apart, all the noodles have absorbed all the broth so they themselves contain the flavour. Sometimes there's a tiny puddle left on the bottom of the bowl but that's about it.

    I learnt how to do the "flipping it over to cook the block whole in the microwave and it end up even" thing from Sunniest :3 it always cooks pretty well and the other people in-house who make ramen by breaking up the block and then putting it in the microwave for just one at-once cooking session always end up with way worse ramen than the stuff I make x3 So I'm like, 'you guys should just let me make your ramen.....'

    Sounds good ven. My father adds these seasonings to the spicy kind of ramen and makes a spicy broth that almost makes it taste like chicken tortilla soup broth. Dunno what they are but that's the way I like mine. haha
