o-o Eum then they would have stumbled into it because they joined the thread, made an intro post to join, and knew that the whole subject was that there was a maniac lose and they were supposed to avoid it which would be fun and adrenaliney for them sometimes because that was the plot? I guess, anyway, I mean it's kind of a weird thing for 'randomily everyone's being killed' thing though, really, unless they're like... tertiary characters that people control? I was just writing that I was killing people. I killed Zan cuz he was like on my FL and stuff before he left DW. b:sad o.o I didn't know there were rules. o.o And like whole things. I just randomly do things sometimes. xD So do people like create alternate realties or something? xD Is there variances in the rules. For example, nobody dies on PWI. xD Yeah! on-board roleplays are where there's a universe created with a plot oriented with it, and people will come and make characters, and make text posts to describe what they're doing and interacting with the plot and there's twists and-- it's kind of like if you had a fictional fantasy book, but instead of it being written by one person, all the characters are written by different people, and by moving together then unfold the plot just how it comes to be !~ And sometimes, unique characters(not Mary Sues, but like ones with special perceptions or who end up doing something and falling out of morale) can give something to the story that was a twist no one who was making the plot alone would have thought of on their own. I haven't been on any in a long while, but they're very fun

Normally they're not really based on MMORPG games though(people may roleplay inside the game though) 'cause the mechanics in most games(unless it's something like... a certain one that begins with M/ends in I/has 8 letters in its name(can I do that? sorry if I can't I'm just trying to explain OTL) which has a really roleplay-like combat system in that it'd have to be changed almost none at all in text to be enjoyable for two persons roleplaying on a board.)

I guess that if you're just playing with standard revive and people die all the time and then get alive right after in pwi and stuff it doesn't really matter /that/ much, but well it's what I noticed/my explanations have mostily been meant for standard forum format RPs x-x
