Catabarb Gear Build - R9 & N3 Combo

I'm kinda reluctant to post this, given the varying amounts of feedback that range from nuts to outright insane on builds but...I figure someone else has noticed the same way this combos well, and I'd like to see if I'm on the most efficient track.

This is what Im debating throwing way too much coin at. I'm at about 60% of the coin/gold needed atm. If the Anni sale does well, I think I can make the coin half way or by the end of sept. Which is plenty of time to hit 101 on my barb and farm warsong for the molds needed.

Neck and Tome are already a given and wont change. The rest is kinda up in the air.

The idea is to take advantage of the N3 Def bonus and the R9 Def bonus as a combo. The combo itself gives about 9 more Def levels vs another build I had in mind which utilizes 5 pc N3 with a +11 Warsoul Helm and Warsong Belt - practically the same MR and HP, this one has better Pdef, but the N3/Warsoul/Warsong combo is way less expensive.

9 def levels roughly translates into 675m worth of JoSD, which the 2 pieces of R9 come to a total bill of about 495m, netting me 180m worth of savings. If I did my math right.

I will be doing Vit Stones as having done JoSD on my BM, and realizing I spent enough to R9 out another toon and thensome in those, never again. Im concentrating on HP and Defense levels, I plan to never really actually "kill" anything outside of BH and FF with this toon.

What Im still up in the air about is:
-Which R9 armor piece to go with. Right now I feel the chest has the best bonuses if I have to pick one piece.
-Seal Ring. Are there better options that I am somehow missing (Especially since I cant seem to find one for sale)
-Weapon. Ideally Id like to do R8r down the road, but I realize this is practically impossible given the trials mat change. If you think of something more optimal like with R9 weapon, I may be game for that.
-Any other crazy ideas
