So try to put something good that sale and no crappy and useless packs again.

Normally in october there's a wedding pack sell.

I think wedding is useless and create problems (people getting ****/scam by hubby/wife), but if wedding wasn't existing i'm sure some people (girls) would not even play the game.

I expect there will be one during the Anniversary sales. They usually have Wedding pack sales 3-4 times a year.

Black Friday / Cyber Monday (2/3 years so far)

Christmas (I think 1 or 2 years as well)

Bah on my server there's people that marry and divorce every 3 days (and it's serious), so if some people buy every week packs at 30 golds yea they must make a profit.

IMO.. if you play the game just to get married - try another game like the sims.

as far as I go, I originally started playing this game just to have fun/burn time. I used to have lots of girl players pming me all night long and it drove me totally insane they wanted me to focus on them while i was trying to accomplish what i came for... to kill ****. months go by and i witness factions fall from leader/director weddings gone bad. For many people, pwi weddings cause nothing but drama when the bride/groom do it for all the wrong reasons.

still.. there is always the chance to find true love though the game, and i think that for those people.. a 60 dollar wedding is nothing to worry about. real life weddings cost thousands of dollars.

Remove wedding and fash from the game and the population drop by half cause all girls will leave, some girls have for 100m of fash while they have for less than 10m in gears.

Yup wedding cause a lot of drama in the majority of the case, but ofc there's some rare exception of couple married since a long time in game, but often the long happy wedding in game are people that are a couple in real or people that are only friend in game and doesn't take the in game pixel wedding as a real relation.

As in real life people marry for marry reasons in game, some do it for money, some do it for fun, some cause they are in love with pixels, some do it for exp/quests...etc.

I don't look for true love, i'm married irl, it's just isn't that bad to get a close person and spend time with him and share good moments too.

And i appreciate him a lot ^^, he's a nice guy.

I don't think marriages are useless. But they do tend to cause a lot of drama. There's just a point you shouldn't go past in a game only: Don't pretend you're like a couple irl.

Seen so many people just fall in love, do literally everything with their spouse and act like they were lovers irl. And guess what. Yea, all ended in drama and tears.


I myself am married to two close guys friends and a girl just for the sake of it. I enjoy them as friends and people I just love to be around. Both of the guys have a woman irl. We're friends and just messing around in a game. lol Wouldn't ever want to risk that just for some pseudo-love.

well for some people, that boundary doesn't exist. or if it did ever exist, they blew it wide open. good buddy of mine met a girl in game about a year ago - and just recently moved to be closer to her. by all appearances I would say that things worked out pretty well in their case - but alas that is not always the case.

I personally dont see anything wrong with falling in love with someone over the net. For one, we have a tendency to be more open online than we are in real - which kinda makes it easier to get to know people. If you see a connection there, why not follow up on it?

Oh ofc people can fall in love on game or internet in general, i meet my boyfriend in game and we now live together, but it's not majority of people, some people live in different country, how many will really meet irl? Not a lot, i know about 5 couple that meet in game and now live together irl, but 5 is not a lot.

Wedding and divorce can cause dram irl as in game i guess it's the human part of the game.

Marriage is fun and useless on different levels. Everyone has their choice and reason for it, but most of all it does tend to cause drama and break even bonds you've made with people you've hung out with in this game. When I got married on my veno in 10', one of my closest friends in the game ended up quitting the game because apparently, he wanted to marry me. >.> At the time of this. . his irl gf was playing the game as well and in the same faction with us so in any case it was wrong (even though sweet he wanted to marry me as I longed to marry him too); I had found out a few months ago another close friend initially crushed on me since our first meeting and wanted to marry my as well . . so >.> sheesh on that and damn too. I married on my cleric with another best friend. . as we made a pact only as friends, but that didn't last long as HIS irl gf came into the game or so he says and divorced me with the promise of buying my a new pack since we did nothing just title. Today, he is married to someone else. . . and there is a bit of jealousy lingering because the fact we hung out 10x more when we married than anything, now its non-existant. I've had friends who married in game and divorced and ruined their aspect on ever marrying in the game and find it such a waste now because they were betrayed by their Others.

I'm not saying throughout these troubles there is no light at the end. There have been people to find their true love in here. It is POSSIBLE, but majority it'll cause drama and favoritism between the good circle of friends.

I was even working and farming hard to get a marriage pack for my mystic only to get turned away, but now things have cleared and we are just waiting for the sale to come up. It IS an interesting thing to have in game, and if you have luck to enjoy it without trouble, then go for it, but not everyone will be acceptive even if its just as friends. Someone is going to get hurt regardless. . . . but i do, however, find it hilarious when the same people marry multiple times. Its their money, whatever, just hard to believe they will ever just settle with someone in game.

that's why i'm kinda happy to play alone ( no family, no friends irl )

It isn't a good feeling. I was just setting off my own dramas with marriage in this game even though it is fun to do this with someone and try to get the special prizes, but the effect of the favortisim sets off the bad vibes. I mean, you cannot tell me no one here feels the least bit joy or anger when their buddies in game do something right/wrong. I'm still excited to marry, yes, anyone is, just the aftermath sucks. b:cry

Well, yea, that's true for some people.

For me, the marriage fee here is just too expensive for the tiny bit of EXP given from the marriage system.
If the marriage (lover system) is free, like in some other MMORPGs I played before, I don't mind pairing up with someone (male or female toon) for the sake of that tiny bit of EXP. In fact, I forced my friend to play that game to be my in-game lover so that I could get extra EXP b:laugh
