    Diamond Sutra, level 29 skill.

Immediately recover 20% of your maximum HP and recover
an addtional 250 HP over 15 seconds.

Leave it at level 1 for a long time. Raising its level doesn't provide enough more of a heal to justify the mp costs in low levels.

Also may look at the apothecary for some apos to help you grind.

along with what Sakubatou said also look into better damage mitigation you can look up different mobs on http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/ to get info on what mobs are likely to be attacking you with then spend some time getting a couple of sets of necklaces and belts to change up your defence's: 1 set for magic mobs 1 for physical at your lvl these can mostly come from drops but its also worth looking into raising your craftsman skill along with apoc as it will come in handy later on as craftsman seems to be one skill alot of ppl fore go plus helps you become a lil more self dependant and better able to turn late game farming into a profit

    Past what Saku said...

If you are not using a facebook blessing, get a jones blessing now. You'll find you take way less damage because the mobs are dead way faster.

Next, get the Genie skill Second Wind on your genie. This will be a good heal until you reach about 5kish HP, when Tree of Protection will be better.

Lastly, level your Apothecary skill. There are some good heal pots and regen pots you can make pretty easy that help out.

Maelael was saying get a Facebook blessing. You need a facebook page. If you don't have a facebook account most email addresses will automatically create one without your knowledge. That's what happened to me. Anyways, follow the steps and pwi will send your character one of two blessings. Either a Jones Blessing (+30 attack levels) or an O'Malley's Blessing (+15 attack levels and +15 defense levels). These last one week and equip just like armor. You can get one a day. Attack levels basically increase your damage by 1% and defense levels increase your defense by 1%.

As for not having enough culti, follow the gold quests in your quest log. Character's upgrade their cultivation about every 10 levels by doing a quest chain highlighted in gold lettering. If you don't have a gold quest hit "q" and select the "available quests" tab to look for the gold quest. Here is a guide to the Aware of Harmony cultivation chain

Maelael also suggested Second Wind, which is a genie skill that heals you. Second Wind is good for arcane's or low levels because its an instant heal at the click of a button. You can learn it when your genie is only level 10 which is nice, and it may help save you coin on hp pots. To learn it you'll need to play with your genie and learn how it works. A quick guide would be right click on your genie's picture (on your play screen, not in your inventory) and click the affinity tab. Second Wind requires 1 point in wood, 1 point in earth, and 1 point in water so add those. Now unequip your genie and find a Watcher of Earth in any city. Click "learn genie skills" and put the genie into the slot. Now you can pay spirit for your genie to learn a skill, as long as it has the right affinities. When you are done, reequip your genie. This is a good list of possible genie skills to get. Kind of fun to see what your genie can do.

    G'luck!

When I was around 3X, almost 40(a couple of days ago D:) - I loved sutra. Loved it so much that I discovered that if I use fists to auto attack, I gain chi a lot faster to use sutra and gain the hp, lost in a fight, back.
