Lagging with some skills

Hi, lately some skills are causing a lot of lag to my cleric. Such skills wont let my client's screen move for one or two seconds, which is a problem when I am in middle of mass pk.

The skills affecting my client speed are most seekers AoE, tangling mire, nature's vengeance, when mystics summon their pets and slipstream strike. As you can see the skills are very specific, so I don't lag with very skill of x class but with some of them.

Around one month ago this problem wasn't affecting my laptop but it was when EG came out. Does anyone know how to some this problem? Because if I did solve it long time ago, I don't know how.b:laugh

    well the most common solutions would be to ensure that your client directory is excluded from your antivirus scans, and to then verify the files a couple of times.
    Sounds like it's most likely some damaged data files and the above should resolve that.

    I excluded my client directoty from my antivirus long time ago, it was saying pwi patcher was a virus.

    May I know how do you verify the files?:o I thought it was something you could only do when you were updating the client version.

    Also, my hard disk failed this morning, that may be the reason because I was getting this lag... Or could be only a coincidence lol.

    To verify the files you just click the Verify button on the patcher.

    It can take anywhere from 3 minutes to 3 hours depending on your system, the quality of your connection to the server, and the download speed of your ISP.

    If your HD has failed, then yeah, it could have been cause by the drive having trouble reading some of the sectors.
