    Anyways, I always thought it was funny when one looked at Frank Herberts concept sketches of the (Mentats styles) And how They had someone montage them for {Babylon 5's} Centari race.... HAHAHAHAhaahahahaaa!!!!b:laugh

    Bet I know a tv~producer in the 90s' who had a copy of Herberts Hardback 'Concepts book'..........b:chuckleb:victory

    Herbert was quite the genius writer though....

    I read em, the ideas are still herbertish but the writing style lacks a lot

    I'm mainly disapointed that the man who made and destroyed paul mauddib couldent finish making that total sadface up to us

    I damn near gave water to the fictional dead

    Though when the reincarnated him in hunters of dune I was like squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Also kinda showed why they were just total badasses, and meh, all apprentices works are credited to their master till they're released. But ya thats what I mean by writing style, lots of unnecessary drama rather than a sharp clean story. I really liked Herbert's ability to convey powerful ideas and emotions with minimal fluff and petty interaction. Its an awful loss but at least the ideas he had finally made it to the world.

    Plus more Duncan and Gunny is always pro as hell.

    Yep, I liked their expanded history on Idaho's life in the new prequals....b:victory

    But they really messed it up terribly, on trying to rewrite Gurney Halleck as having escaped from {Geidi Prime} by himself, Rather then leave it as {Herberts Original Dune} had it, as his rescue & liberation in a Heroic Raid "That Gurney had always bragged about "that Leto did on the slave pits of Geidi Prime, that freed him?" (That was a MaJoR! HOLE in the plotline, that they should left out of the reimagining & rewrite)...... b:infuriated
