[request] BHD solo

Started talking about this in another thread, i cant remember wich one, nor do i remember the name of the person who doubted it could be done [tho it was also a bm]. Since that person is a bm and level 100, my trolldetection went off. But because im bored, i made a few screenshots.

First try is with demon bell and level 10 [or 11] BP. G16 [+10] fists + tome. My regular gear set up:

The thing that puzzles me about this first kill is my HP. Its at max on all the screenshots [not counting the first one, the HP missing on the first screenshot is from the skull hunter]. It must be luck, i didnt really pay attention during the killing and just hit "printscreen" a few times.

* On this screenshot im wielding G16 again. I wanted to pop in a HF, and simply clicked the G16 fists on the hotbar like im used to, instead of clicking G13 in my inventory [or just putting G13 on the hotbar]. Reason for this is probably the 12 hour nap i just woke up from. :P

This kill was also no problem, tho i did tick 3 or 4 times total. On the first try i had just 1 tick.


Third attempt was with demon bell, level 10 [or 11] BP. G13 [+10] fists, but this time, no Pan Gu tome:

During the third kill, you can see i have my cursor over crab meat. Not to use one, just to show the number of crabmeat stays the same during all 3 kills. It was at 898, and it still is now. Third kill also had the most charm ticks, i think 7 or 8.

Items/coins wasted:

-11.3K on a tele to get BP. You can ask faction, a friend, or just some1 you come across while strolling in Arch. As always, im impatient. xD
-HP charm waste. Lets say 10 ticks in worst case scenario.
-MP Charm waste. Didnt count the ticks at all, but on a total of 1.8M, its nothing.
-Repair fee. Didnt time the kill, but i would say somewhere between 1 and 2 minutes. I used Striking Dragon on 2 of the 3 kills, and its durability dropped by 13 [327/340].

Managed to counter some magic attacks with Shadowless Kick. Sparked through some others. What i noticed was BHD "swallowed" his magic attack 1 or 2 times. He started casting, but didnt finish it. No Shadowless Kick was involved in these [1 or 2] attacks.

Yes, its a zillion screenshots. If someone can point me to a Fraps guide for dummies that are 2 dumb for a regular "Fraps for dummies" guide, im all ears. :P

1. Download and install FRAPS.
2. Run fraps.
3. Set video capture key.
4. Capture video.
5. Load into Windows movie maker, search for a good setup on google.
6. Publish to youtube.
7. ???
8. Profit.

Tried taking on that beast on my 90 sin. Was a crushing lesson in not being an APS crazed moron.
Waiting for other people of my party to hit the quest so we can go hunt him down as one.

I've soloed BHD with a herc and an eldergoth with the base Protect buff (I now prefer the eldergoth for BHD, as it gives me plenty of opportunity to DD (takes more than 2 magic attacks from BHD to kill my buffed 'goth, where 2 melee hits will kill the herc.)) I also tested it with an unbuffed Eden cactopod and found it doable, but a spam heal fest, and I let the cacto die when I lost concentration.

You do realize you can just stun lock him?
Even with **** gear a skilled player can solo him without receiving any damage at all.
Archers can do it by cycling stun arrow + knockback arrow + aim low.

Yes?

I meant stuns take time to channel. At 5 aps thats 5-8 hits im missing, so not worth it.

Well if the few seconds that adds on are more precious to you than your charm... (my BHD fights take minutes, even with sage soul degeneration taking 20% off the top.)

Its just a big mob for me tbh. Though a little easier then some 23M hp mobs. :P
When entering OHT i just take the quest and fly towars that hill with the skull hunters, near crack warper. From there i walk down and just wait. If there are other people near i ask if they need BHD. When he's dead i hope i get the quest completed message. If not i go kill the mobs required. xD

I "think" i have decent dmg output. Lots of dot's and a high tier weapon.
That took 2 years of no life goofing around and really slight cashing. You would be able to buy some nice high brand jeans with the amount.
