Hi guys. Just doing a bit of investigation to third cast and I got stumped. Maybe someone could help me.

I can't seem to find how to acquire the weapon molds for third cast.

I know armour molds are dropped from Warsong and Lunar Bosses, such as


Chest Molds = Vile: Pestilent Destroyer, Vile: Mystical Jarax
Leg Molds = Vile: Obscure Reaper, Vile: Massaca Seben
Boot Molds = Vile: Snakefist Guardian, Vile: Massaca Seben
Glove Molds = Vile: Cannonfist Orclord, Vile: Mystical Jarax
Belt Molds = Vile: Shadowskull Lich, Vile: Hauntery Queen

Buuuuht, weapon molds? D: any help please

    you are missing the final boss and its vile version in warsong... who drops weap mold/ess

    I also have access to a "test server" thathas the update, we spawned 100 of him and 0 weapon molds. D:

    Has no "dropped by" boss names, in the case that -> http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/34894 (wizard r9 third chest) has a dropped by option.

    You get the 3rd cast weapon molds for killing "Vile: The Incacerate" in Warsong. It's not really a boss drop, it's an extra drop table. That's why those drops are not affected by 2x drop.

    It's as Kiyoshi says, Izzy. The Vile version of the last boss drops two weapon molds + 1 essence of offense.

    Are the drops related to previous quest or warsong related duties?
    Such as mob kills, defending platforms, having killed the 5 previous bosses + vile equivalents, or perhaps NPC quest related? The boss simply doesnt have molds on PWDatabase and I've personally spawned this boss on a test server 100 times with 0 mold drops. D: just looking for the exact details. Thanks guys.

    your "test server" as you call it was inaccuracy updated.

    no, the molds aren't on PW database, because the PWdatabase parser does not recognize the drop table that the weapon molds are on. thats probably why your "test server" didnt update them, because whoever made the "test server" doesnt know where to look to extract the drop table.

    killing vile incarcerate on PWI official is the only place to get the molds.

    Did you just argue a test server experience VS what we in the actual game are getting?

    Anyway, how the weapon molds are dropped is unclear. Whatever it is, it is server side and the info is not accessible to pwdb or us....yet. They are not directly part of Incacerates drop table - this is evidenced during 2x. He drops 2x the essence, but not 2 the molds, so molds are somehow unaffected, placing them outside his drop table in some manner.

    Something that might help, this is one of the weapon molds, it does not appear as if it dropped from anything there, or as linked to any quest at all.

    Funny how the devs went out of their way to have this boss not drop 4 molds on x2.

    People should know by now that the PWDatabase isn't accurate all the time. I was going to link my video, but it looks like someone has already done that! Thanks :D

    Yes, the Vile version of the final boss in Warsong drops 2 weapon molds, regardless of drop rate in the game (x1/x2 drops), and an Essence of Offense. And as Cotillion stated, the molds' drop table is most likely somewhere off of the normal drop table, as x2 drops doesn't affect the weapon molds.

    They're probably on the same drop table area as the mobs in Theater of Blood. The only reason I'd think that is because they don't drop x2 hearts during x2 when they're killed.
