with a sin in squad, it sounds like worth trying as a rockpull there fails tends to hurt a bit xDMiss my Avatar b:sad

No sin just stealths right after hitting the boss once, so mobs won't follow but boss will because lvl [?] if you mean that.

Squad itself wasn't fail but my lvl 89 demon cleric got insulted by an archer couple times.. at runewolf he took aggro and screamed for constant heals. Other squadmembers kept dying (was quite laggy and they had difficulties to navigate boss because of ranged tank I guess). He was actually doing fine with 3 IH stack at a time so I decided to revive and buff and AOE heal when I can. Archer kept complaining and actually once died, blaming it all on me " YOU HAVE TO HEAL ME THEY CAN LAY DEAD!!!! " And wait boss to die god knows how slowly?
Same archer started to bytch at last room when I attacked a harpy. I tanked in smooth on cleric, suddenly I see archer asking for heals. I told I am dealing own harpy and he should be able to manage it by himself if he isn't a fail archer. He tells me I am a fail cleric. I told him I can manage some DDing, he replies I shouldn't DD at all, my job is to heal.

Most archers are fairly bad at their class in fc in my experience.
I played my archer forever ago before sins were common in FC. We used to love venos back then (bramble and lending hand ftw), barbs (hp buff, devour, sott), Wizzies (shiny hands and mass aoe), BMs (Bell, Stun, HF, GS) and ofc Clerics (heals \o/)
I remember my first fc in the 8x had a 78 bm, 84 wiz, 81 cleric, me (83), 82 veno (pro as hell with a herc), and we kept trying to find a barb (found one before third boss). We tried to do the first pull and the wiz died. Cleric wasnt there yet so the veno herc pulled the hall and we aoe'd it. We got to the first boss and i had no idea what it did but i thought the circles were bad lol. Aggro fight between me, wiz and the venos herc. Killed it with the cleric not there yet somehow. Lots of fun times after then. I think most of these people I friended, but most don't play anymore
Things I consider fail that are easily remedied:
Pulling down harpies: Hit with bow and let the melees stunlock it.
Bishops: Stun as soon as they spawn and just pew pew pew. Squad doesnt need to stand 5m from the boss. Ranged classes have a knockback to hit the bishops towards the melees.
I prefer click targetting hands so no one misses them. I always did hands on my archer and seeing others do it on my barb is abit strange. Seekers and mystics are good for it. As are psys, but wiz channeling is sometimes slowish. One squad asked me to do hands on my barb (mostly sins and bms) i was liek, lol you guys can just die from aoe then, I dont need heals anymore xD (sunder ftw).
On my barb:
I noticed people really suck at pulling harpies. Barely anyone pulls them to ground level anymore despite melee heavy squads. In big room you can pull them all by running under them. If I have a particularly adept aoe dd i like to pull 4 of them (I cant normally aggro the middle one) and roar for aggro then pull to ground level and kill like a normal pull.
Mystics overwriting devour is kinda frustrating, but people just don't know their class and more importantly most new people with mystic mains don't know how barbs work.
No one really rock pulls on my server (that I know of). Most dont even pull full mag hall. I started doing it at 81 tho because if my archer with 6.8k hp can do it then a barb with 15k can easily (invoke, sunder, solid shield, etc). If someone goes afk I just pull more. Its not like barbs are capable of death if they have minimal effort into their gear (tt90+2/3 is sufficient).
People started killing the captains on my server for some reason. I dont understand why seekers QQ when they say they will die; just use AD or expel. roar should keep aggro anyways. And seekers that try to out tank a barb are just fail most of the time (especially when theres no sin in squad; yes my server still has casters in the 9x range).
And I also am a proponent for equal rights for casters. I welcome all classes to my squads and love venos, especially on my barb (bramble does so much damage and really helps with aggro).

She has a heavy armor veno lvl 87 currently.
She has had squads where...
- Barb cannot deal half pulls alone with 10k HP
- Squads where psychics rush ahead and try to solo groups
- Squads wiping at Thunderclaw and pulls
- Clerics who cannot catch up with the puller
- People who forget hands

Are we telling stories about Fail FC squads? Because I got a couple, nothing out of the norm tho.
A sin that can't fully kill shades
Cleric BBing on Runewolf
Psy AoEing Exp room (Big Room Boss)
Or the Fabled: Full pull, Stun, HF BoA, AoE kill in the exp room
Seekers with BP and Cleric still can't handle Full pull.
Sin started Heads during Mobs because he "Saw a Quest and didnt' know"
I've been in some where seekers can't handle half. Which brings me to my question of why do seekers get in free? Understandable, at lvls 92 and under, they are probably the best way. But once I reached lvl 92, 10k+ HP Demon Barb. I could solo Half and Half with only BP. Solo being EXP room mobs. And its quite easy too.
TT90 set with TT90 Gold Axes at +6. No over the top gear or anything "op", I'm still wearing my TT90 gear (atm), no switching until R9. At the time i started soloing exp rooms. All i had was Demon True form and Bestail Rage.
Pull, Holy path to a spot you like:
2 seconds, Invoke, Bestail rage, Surf Impact, Sunder, Change into Human, Armageddon, Swell, Slam then Change into Kitty and holy path out. Wait for cool down then go for round two and its over.
What this does is waste 1-2 mins on your hypers but hypering a full room alone allows you to sell the Heads spots to make up for the Repairs. Around 35k exp each from all 50 mobs. X3 Crazy but it works. BP Required!
This one time in band camp:
After bishop boss was dead, 1 sin was teaching another sin about sin pulls. So they stealth to the shade and opened the door. That was my calling card, I pulled like normal, out of Bishop boss room, down the hallway, holy path to the door then loop around and go back to Runewolf Boss room for a nice AoE party kill and maybe some good hypers. Well, i got there. When i pull, i dont have time to looking at my map, or look at chat. I run, im a kitty on a mission. everything went fine until i noticed hps were dropping fast. Turn out, the eager to learn sin had aoed while i was in holy path so i didnt' notice. Took half my mobs and squad wiped b:laugh b:surrender
But I'm not above **** ups myself.
I've forgotten to Invoke on Sin pulls b:cry
Ran into BB b:surrender
Used Surf Impact on Oceania Master and killed everyone b:shutup
One time I pulled Messenger of Fear into Asoteric Runewolf room just to try and not die because squad got wiped.
But to answer your 3 questions.
1) If left goes AFK during a full run, as long as the squad has a strong Tank with Crabs/Herbs and a Genie with atleast Second wind if not Tree of Protection (ToP) you should be fine up until Bishop boss (Dreadindra) depending on how strong the squad is. Only 2-3 bosses would probably need a healing class imo
~Thunderclaw
~Dreadindra
~Messenger of Fear
On a exp room, you can still by pass an afk cleric with a good seeker/barb and/or BM. Use the AoEs that are available just make sure that one person maintains aggro or else it can get messy.
2)If a sin can't do a sin pull its ok, if you have a kitty, let him pull the mobs into Dreadindra's room and invoke then have a small aoe party in there. Then move on to the next room. Dont stress out over a small amount of time being drained. Its better to get it done right then to gain back all the exp lost with little to no extra. No one likes a FC without an EXP.
3)I for one, have never encountered this but i rarely go on FC's with mystics. But this doesn't seem like much of a problem, at 3 sparks, i can easily cast Devour continuously with Alacrity and Surf Impact inbetween to gain back chi. Use B. rage also helps being that your aggroing the boss so hes hitting you.Logic = Against ToS. It's the answer to all "Wtf..." Moments during normal gameplay with other players.0 -
Silver's story reminds me of how easy it is to solo entire FC with a barbarian. When I tell to others I'm doing it on my own, they laugh at me and tell I am 1. too slow and 2. not good in pulls
Eh... I can solo full pulls these days and I do bosses in decent amount of time. Sure it might requie bit more time than with a sin but I get my work done smoothly.Leader of Cyanure on Valonsurma and a proud member of Vertu

We had awkward moments at the pull from drea to slash..
HA-veno pulled, she got laggy and died, mobs reseted. Our squad sneaked to safe spots as we saw this happen, I killed a group that reseted on me. Veno releases and is coming back to pull for us again (she tends to use feral concentration as a life saver after pull).
However, seeker didnt follow us at the first time she pulled. No-one knows why. Now the seeker said " I will pull. " We are like heck no, you got too less HP and vortex+BP might not save you. She does not listen, she pulls and dies at slash room, all others die too. Seeker ragequits, we invite a psychic to run, veno pulls again and it goes smooth.0 -
_Shui - Harshlands wrote: »You do rock pulls over there in your server in FC? o.O
On Harshlands we do that completly different.
Squad just waits at the pull before bishops boss.
Sin stealthls, goes to boss, hits boss once, stealth again, lures boss back to us.
Then we just kill it there before pull starts.
Just a few notes on common mistakes made doing this since alot of people don't know how. I know how, have done it multiple times, and then when the squad messes up I get blamed for a fail sin pull.
When the sin stealths the mobs may reaggro on nearby squadmates. Give the sin room so these don't reggro onto another person. Also, the sin needs to pull the boss far enough so that attacking the boss doesn't aggro mobs in the hallway. Best spot for the squad to stand is near the previous magic hallway.
Clerics, don't heal the sin as he's pulling. When he shadow escapes the mobs will go straight for you. I had a cleric heal during this, died, and then I heard "fail sin" because the cleric didn't understand heal aggro.
When the boss is started stand together just like you would normally. Alot of people aren't used to the sin pull and since the boss is now in a new area they seem to forget where to stand. Group up so the mob spawns can easily be stunned and killed, just like always.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory0 -

I never heard of the sin pull in the FC's I went O.o
The only "sin pull" I can remember is what we call "Bishop Boss Glitch" that personally I think it's a little bit hard to do. The squad waits on the room at the corner of the 2 corridors, the sin goes on stealth to the Bishop Boss room, puts on buffs, throws knife at boss, stealth again and run to where's the squad. Seems pretty simple if the boss don't take you out of stealth >.< Otherwise all mobs on the way go with you and then it can be a big disaster... :x
This "glitch" is done so the puller (barb) can make The Big Pull, that's from that little room on the corner till Slash Boss room (also Shade in the way has to be killed).MetzliDemon - 102 Celestial Demon Assassin f:grin

I was a level 92 veno when I first got into fc in this account. I got dragged in by a friend who was trying her best to get some DD in squad that will not get the squad wiped ( an archer BOA'd in Oceania, hit the clone and massacred the whole squad while he was only told to deal with hands).
We exchanged hellos and started to run. It was a smooth run till one of the 2 sins asked me a question:
''You have sage amp?"
I answered honestly no.
Sin suddenly then asked if I can be removed from squad cause "the veno will slow down the run cause she has no sage amp''b:surrenderGo Pure or go Fail

1. Your FC squad mate, let's say cleric, went afk during run. What others should do? How do you face these situations? How to avoid them?
If it's during the bubble boss spawns or big room harpies I usually don't care as long as they're back in time. As for other areas, usually in the beginning and certain areas, I don't mind going group by group which almost any group should be able to easily handle. Now if the cleric goes afk (especially without saying anything) at an important time, I'd either boot them or pull a **** ton of mobs to them (haven't had to do that yet).Colum - Raging Tide wrote: »2. What to do?
I have yet to see this rock pull thing but if it were to happen and we were to wipe, I'd just let the barb pull, or have the sin pull the half in the room while the barb gets the hall. Yelling at a squad mate for a mistake like that doesn't really help them but letting them know what/if they messed up is more helpful. If they don't listen though, they get the boot and we'll take w/e dd that wants to come... I personally don't care for sins so I don't find them a necessity for anything, especially fc's.Colum - Raging Tide wrote: »3. Oh the sweet debuff issues. First cleric casts his physical and magical defense debuffs. Then barb comes in with the strongest physical debuff skill of game - devour. Suddenly mystic interrupts this with his befuddling creeper.
Debuffs, I don't really care, as someone who has only really played a bm and wiz, it's hard to follow all the icons and animations while paying attention when to spark or hf or throw down a sutra combo and what not so debuffs aren't my specialty and I don't QQ about it. I do hate it when 2 hf's go off at once though, but that doesn't drive me crazy or anything, it's just such a waste of super dd-ness .
As for FC experiences, ah there are many.
1. Our BFF bishop boss
I hate it when people ignore the bishops and focus only on the boss, especially when he's not down to 75% health within the first 10-20 seconds. Usually people start calling it out but I've been in parties where I was the only one attacking the bishops and level dependent, 1 person cannot kill the bishops quick enough. If no one attacks I usually get mad after a few squad wipes and bring my BM in, if they're not going to listen then idc about their exp gimp.
Tips for bishop: Do NOT silence or kb the bishops, they start aoe'ing a lot more which lead to more interrupts along with a lot more damage. Also it makes it a pain (especially dependent on how far back their sent) for melee DD's to go after them, causing problems for clerics/mystics.
2. Bubbles! who doesn't like them?
The bubble boss is always fun, never really had a problem except for people who want to glitch him and afk while whoever is soloing can't handle him. In that case we usually just fight him normally and the afk'er can die or be kicked, idc.
Tips for bubblebut: As a wiz, I like to hold off using sutra combo on the boss and keep it in case the healer get's bubbled/slept or if someone else it taking damage and the healer hasn't realized or is in the middle of a longer channel skill. Sutra + morning dew heals for quite a good amount.
3. Wolves slash? I thought they bite!
I've had runs where way to many people think they know the exact timing to spark and die on Mr. Slashy. It's cool to learn from mistakes but the worst is when the person afk's till the end of the boss, even with rez balls of doom or being res'd by the cleric. Usually put them on my "do not fc with" list.
Tips for wolfy: Ranged classes can safely attack from 26 meters (idk if it's safe less than that) even with him doing his slash routine, you don't have to run away unless he's closer than that. I usually run when he gets closer far enough back that my Undine Strike requires me to take a couple auto steps to him to attack. Also for any class, if you want to get the most damage in, you can use teleporting skills like tiger leap and distance shrink to get away along with holy path.
4. Oh mobs and bishops? Let's have a tea party with the shade together! (no stuns btw)
Yes this is quite painful, especially when; 1. the barb can't hold agro, 2. the harpy is left alive and half the squad is attacking it because it'll kill them and 3. the healer isn't ready or the party isn't buffed up. The bishops as we all knowingly love do massive damage and interrupt and some barbs can't hold that along with all the other mobs + the shade. Sealing the bishops helps a ton and as a wiz, BIDS then following with hailstorm and Will of the Phoenix really helps to keep you alive.
Other than that, FC's always have some weird and definitely annoying characters, especially with random squads. But it's usually fun having to do something different than the last 50 runs you did. It is nice to see how much your healers and tanks can handle too
Just some general tips:
1. Wizard's Mountains Seize has a pretty reliable stun so it's almost as good as Roar of Pride and does quite a lot of damage against water mobs (prevalent in FC). I like to use that first, follow up with Hailstorm and Black Ice Dragon Strike, usually kills everything, and if not, Will of the Phoenix cleans what's left.
2. If you buffed the melee DD's with Frostblade or have psy with you, I like to keep Undine Strike on permanently on bosses, mini bosses (shades), bishops and anything else that takes a while to take down. Undine Strike will increase your damage, the psy's damage, any melee character with your Frostblade buff, and any character does does Fire, Earth or Water damage (like Flame Arrow for archers and Drake's Breath Bash for BM's).
3. As a BM stuns help a lot, especially with big groups of mobs. AOE's are really useful during big pulls as hitting 1 mob at a time with fists is rather useless unless you're trying to focus down a bishop or shade or something of the sort.
4. On bosses, Heaven's Flame (Axe ultimate) and Glacial Spike (Polearm ulti) stack! I usually like to toss them together, HF followed by GS after a DD'er sparks.
5. If you don't want to **** your squad off, Holy Path helps with slow movement. Cloud Eruption helps reduce chi waiting.
6. For Barbs or tanks in general I guess, the genie AOE agro skill helps.
7. Probably the thing you MUST do in FC; If you don't know something, if you need time to get chi or take a quick break, need herbs or pots or repair, or just have a question, ASK IT. SAY IT. Going in blindfolded is more dangerous than throwing a banana at a monkey in a zoo (as Kosmo Kramer will tell you). And if you have advice, tell the person but don't force it on them unless it is completely wrong (such as a bm attacking all mobs with a bow or something). If we don't say anything, we're stuck with idiot noobies.

I remember a squad where archer and cleric said what the heck it matters if bishops are far... also said archer refused to go near boss because it will nerf his damage. I got kinda frustrated on teleporting to the bishops each and every time and to the fact I was the only one killing them, barely in time. If bishop slept me, other had time to spawn.

It seems most squads are afraid of bubble boss.. god knows why. They refuse to do it even when I say my cleric can heal there perfectly fine.

It is not safe from less.. sin with bow is too less range and any but maxed caster skill is too less so yes 26 meters at least..

This is the reason why usually on RT we always have a sin in squad to kill the said bishop shade. If we dont have a sin, barb pulls the squad to bishop shade, pulls mobs back and goes to the rock... squad kills shade and when barb is good he will do full pull from his place. If the kitty cannot handle a full pull, they will usually stop before the shade to avoid squadwipe.
Other than that, FC's always have some weird and definitely annoying characters, especially with random squads. But it's usually fun having to do something different than the last 50 runs you did. It is nice to see how much your healers and tanks can handle too

I like to use that first, follow up with Hailstorm and Black Ice Dragon Strike, usually kills everything, and if not, Will of the Phoenix cleans what's left.
I find it funny with squads who QQ about wizards/psychics/venos and want a BM to stun for them even though all these 3 casters have skills with high chance to cause a similar effect
Alpha Male. It works the same way as roar - resets aggro. It adds a little reflect effect, though. I rather use this skill than roar if I have any genie energy left after pull because it gives me time to use AoE-combo after invoke.
Happy FC'ing

Double posting here but damn I HATE when there comes a player - lets say archer - in a squad which already has veno, mystic, cleric and sin and hes like " no BM, bye "0

And now you say "you shouldn't start something if you know you don't have time to finish it", i know, and i use to calculate the time for each thing, but imagine that for some reason in a FC we take a little longer than the expected and then dinner time comes... People need to eat... And not everyone is an independent adult that can eat dinner at anytime they want... Just saying b:surrender
Try it when SWIMBO says "Set table, dinner is ready.".
Failure to comply can lead to sleeping on the sofa and no food.
It is one more reason why people going afk is infuriating. Start a run (BH, TT, FC whatever) that should take 30min, tops, then someone decides to go afk, or fly in from other side of map, etc.0 -
when that dumb barb doesn't AOE agro or BM doesn't roar...
the AFK-I'll-Never-Lose-Agro Barb is by far the worst0 -

I'm an old time player with many 100+ charecters and i use to run fc with all the origanal classes before sins and seekers poped out, i just get bothered with people asking for a seeker saying we can't pull if we don't have one, even when you have a BM and a Venos ParaNova or even a barb with roar and invoke.
