3rd casting your helm?

Hey everyone, so my thought to ponder on today issssssssssssssss , is it worth recasting your nirvana helm to 3rd cast to gain slightly better refines/hp and about 10 more dex, or does the 5 attack level bonus outweigh that o:

thoughts? :3

    It's gonna be about +300HP if you get a perfect roll and both items are +12.

    And the +5 Attack Levels gives you more damage than the dex does.

    The only reason to get the hat would be to recast your leggings as well for the +700 HP set bonus.

    Agreed.

    This falls more into the "If you can keep 5 aps with 2 less pieces of -int" argument though.

    For instance if you have a tome and -.05 x 2 G15, G16, or Barrier Thorns then you'll be 4.00 base/5 aps sparked. You can drop either your TT99 ornies or your TT99 wrist/boots and go for something more defensive or you can keep 4 aps base.

    If you go more defensive getting getting G16 boots and helm wouldn't be horrible, and upgrade your wrist to G15 (since going G16 would lose you another -.1) Off the top of my head that might be the best combo but others will prolly prove me wrong below :D

    now im curious about how dex stacks up to attack lvls, whats the ratio?

    The issue isn't just exclusive to assassins. I got the mold for arcane and looked it up. Less pdef, no crit, no -ch; no +atk lvl: just more mag.

    Actually for arcanes 3rd cast is better to use than r9. Best setup for them would be r9 weapon + belt, and full T3.

    @Thumbs T3 has more p def/m def than T2. It has the same base p/m def as R9, but it actually has more due to the +4-10% m/p def adds.
